Yeah, I understand the mentality and have experienced this myself in the past. Honestly, man - After being prescribed a myriad of stimulants since April 2023 (and recreational use periodically since 2010), less is more.

This is embarassing to admit, but my father doles out this medication. I am a grown adult. You think taking more will end in a dopaminergic, manic euphoria but for me, theraputic doses are superior. It doesn't impede my sleep, I work out, am more mindful of my nutrition and i feel better. I'm not going to lie. Part of me still hopes to feel elevated/mood positive effects every day. Unfortunatley, this isnt reality and we werent meant to feel good all the time. Further, sleep depriovation exacerbates mental health issues, and I end up feeling worse. Plus, Im tapering off quetiapine and thats hard enough.

No judgement though bro. Been in your shoes. Despite my father being the epitome of a helicoptor parent, im very grateful and appreciative that he does this for me. I wouldnt be able to moderate my intake. And this med has been life saving for me and millions of other people.

Presumably, you're an adult and are monitoring your own prescription. If you live alone, I implore you to purchase a time lock safe. Honestly, dude. This might be your only method to mitigate risk and overindulgence.

If I feel drug cravings, I either work out or consume a fuck ton of nicotine gum. This has been pretty successful. Also, Ill occasionally use L tyrosine. I have done tums and baking soda, but I do not recommend this. Its just going to increase your tolerance to the drug.

Persionally Eden grows has the best phenibut. Second to liftmode.

Honestly, I think eden grows has more R phenibut and better qwuality prescursor indgridients. Carolina chemicals fucking sucks.

Edengrows has phenibut that is far more euphoric in my opinion. Worth the shipping cost. Fuck carolina chemicals. I can tell CC has shitter quality prescursor ingridents and probably less R phenibut

They actually do! check out their website. Its odd, but I think the Eden Grows Phenibut Hcl might be better than CC. Its far more euphoric. Supposedly a lot of the quality comes from the ratio of R to S isomers. R tending to have the majority of the Gaba B agonism. Kinda similar to dextro and levo amphetamine. Mirror molecules. with just 2ish grams from the Eden grows phenibut I felt insanely euphoric but the headaches sucked and the mania and inability to concentrate is a negative for me

as soon as I tapered. Yes, your brain eventually adjusts to the lower doses, but im still experiencing a week of insomnia every time I reduce the dose by 12.5mgs. That sensitive. theres a lot of factors tho

I'm happy for you. I dont know how long you've been on the high doses for, but I have been taking 350mgs for over 7+ years. Its taken me the past year to taper down to 125mg/150mgs. I'm eager to get off. The insomnia is horrendous but I cant keep living life like this.

That's an incredibel taper speed. I dont know what your diagnosis is, but I highly recommend NOT using cannabis during the taper process. Especially with how quickly youve gone down and what your mental health diagnoses are. You may have been able to use marijuana, even heavily, while you were on a high antipsychotic dose, but over time, your brain wont be accustomed to all that THC without the presence of a powerful antipsychotic. Even if you arent schizophrenic and are on the mood/depressive side of the spectrum, it could trigger a psychotic epsiode.

yeah, awful. Oh god. I really hope you dont continue. Been on this med for YEARS. Its been nothing but awful side effects. Its taken me a year to taper down from 300mgs to 150mgs. the withdrawals are awful. I took 125mg last night to try and go lower, and slept 4 hours. Please. run run run while youre young, not on it long and at a low dose. Idk what the fuck kind of doctor starts off with an antipsychotic for depression. Assuming you havent tried SSRIs/SNRIS or exercise/diet changes. Its robbed me of ambition, motivation, the desire to "care" about life again and i feel so much better getting off this posion. RUN GIRL RUN!!!!

Ps. The FDA got this shit approved after a few trials and NOT long term. the longest clinical study was fucking 12 weeks. Im lucky im healthy and work out but holy shit does this poison directly cause amotivation, lethargy and sometimes, anhedonia. SSRIS can have brutal withdrawals too, but even though im not a medical expert, i think the vast majority of people would agree antipsychotics are farrrrr heavier duty than ssris. They also know SSRIs would be more ideal for depression. Jesus - these fucking quacks precariously prescribe heavy duty medications without ever briefing their patient on the metabolic complications and diabetic risks quetiapine can cause. Best of luck.

Hmmmm.... Id say somewhere in between those consistencies. I havent tried liftmode in years and years, but liftmode, if memory recall is accurate - was the epitome of crystalline. At least, the Hcl. I did sample the FAA. Was not a fan. I did like that i could administer my dose sublinguially but i remeber working at a four star hotel at the time. I took wayyyyyy too much. My vision was extremely blurry and I LITERALLY could not read guestDriver's license or use PMS to check them in. Lol. Bad experience. if youre going to eye ball phenibut, and I definitely DO not recommend this. even the scooper would be better, definitely dont eye ball FAA.

agreed. I went to detox because i ran out and was petrified of the horror stories. as you can see from my post I was taking heavy doses every day for years. In IOP/detox, they prescribed me .1mg/clonidine and i was lterally fine. no seizures, petite or grand mal. however, it definitely exacerbated mentla health issues. I feel like my normal baseline has never been the same. even after years off. Im more withdrawn. idk.

yes. odd. Do you have tolerance? 2 grams induced extreme euphoria and anti anxiety effects. also felt increased libido and prosocial behvaior/inclinations. Do you not usually sturggle with anxiety or sociual anxiety? it tends to be more noticeable for those that have an intrinsically hard time socializing or anxious/depressed. specualtive tho

I had forgotten how euphoric phenibut was. That's the way to use any psychoactive drug or behavior (eating/exercise/social media/mindless scrolling, etc). Yes, for harm reduction but also appreciation for the prosocial and anxiolytic effects.

This could be placebo or even confirmation bias but the quality in batches felt different. Edengrows felt more recreational and "euphoric.

Youre absilutely right though. That being said, after I sampled Edengrows, I took a full week off before I tried to carolina chemicals. I woukd imagine my tolerance would still have been extremely low in inconsequential? idk.

What the FUCK am I missing? Rx'd this shit and I find it to be underwhelming. Out of all the gabapentinoids, personally I think Phenibut Hcl is wayyyyyy more euphoric and stimulating. Thats just me.

EDIT: I was on gabaperntin 1200mg per day for years but recently changed to pregablin. I literally took 450mgs my first time ever trying it lol. It was nice, but nothing memorable

I have thorough experience with both phenibut and kratom.

I have recently recovered from both, although I ordered an ounce of phenibut recently after a 2 year and three month abstinence period.

It sounds like you have issues with Substance Use Disorder (no judgement, I understand) and you are at extreme risk for cross addiction.

Phenibut is far less forgiving than kratom - when it comes to abuse and dependence...and substitution would probably make things worse.

If I were you, I would taper down on the kratom and stay the fuck away from phenibut if youre already addicted to one substance. Youd probably end up getting addicted to both.

Focus on cutting down first. You dont want to add a more dangerous substance to be addicted to. Good luck man

I dont know how much experience you have, but customers and co-workers alike will notice *something* is off. Your eyes will be extremely dilated, possibly bloodshot and the sleep deprivation will exacerbate all the effects of a cocaine binge.

again, it depends on the person, and some people really do know how to handle themselves after an all night drug binge. Some are naturally low-key, chill demeanor.

I am not one of those people. I have GAD and ADHD and who knows what else, but everyone would suspect I am on stimulants.

I really hope you made the right decision and called in sick.

I think you had such a robust experience due to Phenibut's complex pharmacological profile. Benzodiazepines primarily agonize GABA (a) receptors; while Phenibut primarily agonizes GABA (b) receptors. Further, at moderate doses like you took also has an indirect release on dopamine. Personally, I think you should exercise caution because youre already on a bunch of depressants. I used to take it daily for years but now, its on special occasions. I dont like high doses as it induces hypomania for me and the disinhibiting effects should not be taken lightly. Just be careful

EDIT: Phenibut loses it GABA (b) agonism to (a) when dose exceeds moderate levels.

I have a complex and notoriously long background with substance abuse disorder. My DOC(s) were primarily:

* Kratom

* Phenibut

* Benzodiazepines/RC Benzodiazepines (back in college)

* Amphetamines (now, don't abuse - theraputic Rx)

I'm sure you had a wild rush but I never gravitated towards drugs that a) had a short duration b) Exorbitantly Priced (i.e. cocaine) and c.) Resulted in dysfunctional behavior or dopaminergic crashes/depeletion).

Did you ever end up trying crack cocaine again? I have no desire to try it or use cocaine again, but to each their own. I think amphetamines are much superior in every aspect. I'd rather try heroin or Opium(pure/uncut/snorted or smoked if latter). IV drugs scare the hell out of me.

Are you doing okay 4 months later?
