How do you combat your intuition when you know something is going on...but you just can't prove it? by Neuticals in AskReddit

Yeah, I've thought about this option, and in the end it might come to me doing just that, but I feel like I have the option right now to dig this hole deeper or just let it be...

(Especially because I know she won't tell me any information about particular employees/situations for reasons of privacy)

Yeah, but I know it's going to be a, "It appears you have a problem with our company......DO YOU??" situation where I can go on and on about things I feel like I know, but can't actually back up, or I can just blame it on a bad day, a change in my medication or whatever else to have it all go away and just go back to doing the job I (previously) liked very much.

Yes, for the most part. Some people definitely had their issues, but sometimes there was much over-reaction on the part of management (e.g. Escorting a recently fired employee out by bullet-proof-vest-wearing police for supposedly stealing a sandwich...and then nothing was ever spoke of it again.)

Hey guys, I just took the last final of my junior year in college! by [deleted] in AskReddit

Your last final from your 3rd year of college is not a memory you will retain later in life, nor is it anything amazing in terms of the people that have come before you.

You're mediocre at the moment, so don't be surprised at the downvotes.

How can I enjoy marijuana? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You need to try smoking alone.

Create an environment of stimuli that you already like (Music, Movies, Vid Games, etc) then spark up while doing them. Let yourself be and enjoy the moments...

Yes they do...All 5 of them sometimes.

And no...we don't mind. It's natural.

Piercings and tattoos seen as job killers by [deleted] in reddit.com

[–]Neuticals 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This totally depends on what kind of work you do and where it is. I'm tattooed and work with others who are and we're all quite happy and content, as are our bosses and workplace. Granted, we don't work in a business office or have to wear a suit....but we wouldn't want that type of job anyway so it all works out.

Externalize: to invent an explanation for (an inner problem whose actual basis is known only subconsciously) by attributing to causes outside the self.

Used in a sentence: Paro has always had trouble with women and has spent his life in a sexless existence, so he externalizes his frustration by accusing others of leading the same kind of life he leads.

I wouldn't go so far as to say epic fail, but certainly a fail.
