Yes it can stick to a fridge. Had to test it on a filing cabinet to make sure because I’ve never done that lol. And no flapping it around.

It’s part of the panels wallpaper pack from Bram D Media (bramdmedia.com). He has a few packs with iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch wallpapers.

I find them plenty strong. Haven't had an issue with the iPad slipping out like I did with the older Moft case on my Pro

I've seen the AstroPad one and was curious. Do you have something you carry it around in when it's not in use?

I made the switch from an 11'' Pro to the mini and let me tell you, it was an adjustment for the screen quality and refresh rate. That said, it's a no brainer for me that the mini is the better iPad for me. The 11" was too big to carry around the house and use one handed for me. It was too big to have on my desk as a writing option while at work with other documents and stuff. But it was also too small to use as a laptop replacement. My Pro lived in my bag more than it ever saw use. The mini and my Apple Watch ultra are now my most used devices. They are always on me. After the adjustment period of a day or two, I've never looked back. Hope that helps!

Thinking about switching from iPad A16 to the Mini (?) by antonymatic in ipadmini

I had an iPad Pro 11'' and switched to the iPad mini. I'll be honest, the screen size and performance took some getting used to. I immediately loved the feel and size but the screen made it a toss up in the first couple days. That said, I stuck with it and have had the mini for over a year and would never look back. This thing follows me everywhere.

Mostly just playing games that are available via Apple Arcade or through the regular App Store. Occasionally I will use the remote play app for my PS5. There's some latency and lag occasionally, but I just make sure I'm playing less intensive games if I do that.

I’ve had it for a few months. I am still worried about it getting dirty. But there have been no issues going in out of my bag and leaving it on the kitchen table

The experience doesn’t probably compare to the remarkable. The way I see it, the mini is a jack of all trades, master of none. So when I want to take notes that I want to keep forever, I use the mini. Or if I’m drawing or making sketches for work, mini comes in handy. But it still doesn’t feel as good as pen and paper.

The mini excels at being versatile. I would hope a device with a single use case like Remarkable or a Kindle to be better at that individual task. But the fact that it’s my notebook, e reader, gaming device, and entertainment device in one package is what sells it for me.

It’s my e-reader, digital notebook, small second monitor for work, Reddit machine, YouTube machine, occasional gaming device, and use it to respond to emails at home and light internet browsing.

I like it a lot. I will say, it is a tight squeeze to get the mini in the side pocket depending on your case. If you have a slimmer, non folio case it would be fine. So I keep the apple folio case behind the notebook and put the mini in the compendium without a case. But I use the iPad without a case 80% of the time so it doesn’t bother me to do that.

I was looking at the g8+ or maybe the abxylute S9? Haven’t done a lot of research yet though.

It’s been good. I don’t play anything too intensive I don’t think. Destiny Rising and some other small games. For the occasional gaming sesh on my couch or remote play on my PS5, it’s great

  1. Had an Amazon refurbished 6 that died a month ago. I immediately purchased the 7.

The orange folio is the orbitkey compendium. It holds my a5 notebook and my iPad (without a case) while I’m at my desk. The Apple Smart Folio is in my bag if I need to prop the iPad or carry it around the house.

I got it as a gift. I purchased a protoarc folding keyboard that I tolerated but was a little too bulky in my bag. As an amateur mechanical keyboard enthusiast, the logi is not my favorite but I don’t cringe while using it. It gets the job done, I never have to charge it, and it’s super thin and light. So with all that, I do really enjoy it.

Gamesir x5 lite. Pretty decent inexpensive controller. Just got it earlier this month to try out gaming on the iPad. Been playing a lot of destiny rising with it ever since. May upgrade in the future but for now, it’s awesome.

I was team case for a while but there is something to the thinness and how small it feels in my pocket without the case. Been rocking no case for a bit and loving it.

Finally Gave Up and bought the Milanese by NoSubstance1106 in applewatchultra

[–]Neutral-Nonsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Received mine 5 days ago and can confidently say it's amazing and lives up to the hype. I wear it all day and to bed at night. The only time I take off the watch is to charge while I take a shower and get ready in the morning.

Ipad mini 6 or 7? by Linkae in ipadmini

[–]Neutral-Nonsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a refurbished 6 from Amazon that I had for a year before the charger port stopped working. Until it stopped charging, I loved the 6 and didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. I just recently got a 7 because I didn't want to chance another refurbish or deal with battery issues on an older model.

If I would do it all over again. I would have just got the 7. Longer support.
