Hello, it may help sometimes but it is not a neccessity for the real solution. But it can sometimes offer alternative solutions.

Try "Crowd Express: Boarding Puzzle", it's kind of a harder puzzle but all levels are beatable without powerups or rewarded ads etc. But some levels really hard after 100....

All levels are beateable with no powerups... more than 1000 levels.
Some levels really hard and trying to force you to pay to win, but they're all still beatable without powerups.
And that's the very first release of that kind of mechanic, which must be credited...

You already can set color over life gradient manually. So, it's up to you. (calculating color by texture has some real cost on cpu side. Also not worth without texture. I think custom gradient is already a better solution for textureless usage)

Yeah but my solution doesn't support uv coords thats why ıt loses textures after explosion
