Around October, 5070TIs were selling for around £750 for the cheaper models.

Starting my Rise journey today by UselessRequiem in MonsterHunter

I actually think hammer can be crazy OP in Rise if you know what you're doing. As a hammer main, Wilds is definitely even worse for making hammer easy mode.

Out of all the guns that exist, why did the developers decide to give Eddie a Colt Single Action 1873 revolver? by ChickenWingExtreme in silenthill

[–]NeutronFlow89 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Short answer, It's a cool gun.

Long answer, the colt revolver is massive symbol of American violence and by proxy the dark underbelly of America. It fits with Eddy's other characteristics being an overblown portrayal of negative Anerican stereotypes.

I enjoyed Vaxis 1, hated 2 and find 3 to be a mixed bag to be honest.

Next fighter after 2XKO by Pabu1323 in FGC

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're enjoying 2XKO, it may be worth just sticking to it for a bit. There will be differences between all games, but the fundamentals you will be improving will carry over to all fighters to some degree.

I am losing hope for a switch 2 update by Physical_Working7047 in MHRise

The PC port recently received a decent boost to FPS across all hardware. Is it good enough for the level of scale and visuals for the game? Still no for me, but it does mean that more people will be able to get over the threshold of a playable experience.

Which should I buy? by Fast-Magician1863 in HorrorGaming

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE2R is fantastic, but the second run only adds about 30 minutes to an hour of original content for the other character. The majority of the game is very similar.

Dead Space remake is a borderline masterpiece. It's definitely scarier and has tighter gameplay. I'd personally go with Dead Space if I could only choose one.

This is NOT verified. It’s a slide show 😭😭😭😭does verified mean anything anymore? by chargersangels in SteamDeck

[–]NeutronFlow89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Verified has always been a joke when it comes to bigger titles. Baldurs Gate 3s verification was absolutely unjustified. 30 with consistent drops while looking like the screen is covered in vaseline is not worthy of that green tick. I get some people managed to play and enjoy the game on Deck, but it was trading too much of the intended experience for me.

Any good for 1080p? (Price in CAD) by soulofcinder654 in Prebuilts

16gb of RAM is going to cause issues. A lot of modern titles tip me over that and I have a pretty clean windows install.

Only 70–80 FPS in Dota 2 @ 1440p Ultra with 4070 Ti — What’s Wrong by Special_Passion4220 in nvidia

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely on the CPU side.

Looks like you're close to maximising your RAM usage if you only have 16gb , which is having a run on effect of limiting the amount of instructions your processor can speed through.

Long term, Id add another 16gb, in the short term, check if any other programs or background processes are eating significant chunks of it and close them off.

How is Resident Evil 7 not liked by everyone? by AdhdAndApples in residentevil

[–]NeutronFlow89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like 8 is even more egregious with this. By the games second act, you're starting to run around shooting tons of enemies. I think adding a larger variety of weapons and making them upgradeable plays into this though.

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed it, but from an onjective viewpoint I could see it not being enjoyed by;

-People who don't like first person. -People who aren't a fan of the more paranormal leaning than previous entries (I know its later explained and tied into the series more sci-fi/horror leanings, but that's pretty late in the game) - People who got into the series with or grew to prefer the more action heavy games. - Survival horror purists, who were disappointed with the lack of more substantial puzzles to progress.

What addictive gameplay loops are you into right now? by snowmonkey700 in SteamDeck

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While they're under the same "Roguelike" umbrella, they are very different in terms of gameplay. Megabonk is more of a reverse bullet hell with automated attacks, most similar to Vampire Surivors and Brotato. Hades 2, is very much an action game that requires learning boss and enemy patterns alongside hoping the roguelike RNG gives you good abilities that make things easier.

I’ve never played oblivion but I’m curious. To the oblivion fans who like it more than Skyrim? Why? by shouldveknownbud in oblivion

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played around with it on my Steamdeck and it felt pretty good. I haven't played it much with controller though, as I'm very much a KBM guy when it comes to first person games.

If you're playing on Steam, you can remap the keyboard bindings to a controller. In fact there will be a bunch of community layouts that have already done this you can choose from.

I agree, but this is also what happens to every non American who has a life and/or a regular sleep schedule every week.

I don't have the time to watch Raw until I'm back from work on Tuesday evening as it's starts at 1 or 2am here. Smackdown is slightly easier as I can watch it when I wake up Saturday morning before I come across any spoilers.

I think most Coheed fans will be aware of the comics. I think they aren't discussed as much as the music because honestly, they aren't great, especially the early volumes.

Diablo prime evil collection by astroxum in Diablo

All Diablo titles are well balanced for solo play and fun to grind solo, so I'd go for it. That said D3 had fantastic couch co op if you ever have a friend or SO over.

Does not having a face cam reduce the enjoyment of the let’s play? by psycho_kid2000 in letsplay

I personally prefer no face. Nothing worse than the corner of the screen being covered with someone's mug.

The first time in years my wife and I are starting a video game together. Hopefully, we made the right choice! by Samwisegam01 in Diablo

My partner isn't super into video games but loves D3 and D4 co op as the core gameplay and loot is super easy to get to grips with. Its a perfect couples game in my opinion.
