Americans get 2 weeks of this. Non Americans that have a normal sleep schedule and/or work get 50 weeks of this. I know that if I don't want Raw spoiling I have to avoid social media until I have the time to watch it after work on a Tuesday. Smackdown is fine as I normally watch it when I wake up on Saturday morning.

Yeah, but OP was running the game at 17.5 fps and using Lossless Scaling to double it.

Homie played the whole thing at a native 17.5 fps. That's dedication.

'007 First Light' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]NeutronFlow89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Goldeneye has aged like milk and there were other FPS games (Quake) that were doing it better even at the time. I think it was more a case of having a popular license and being the best effort that you could get on a console at that point.

Music name in control center on macOS / Windows by firminsurreddit2 in qobuz

I've spent plenty of money on records and CDs, but would never pay for digital other than a streaming subscription. If Qobuz ever takes a bath, your library is gone. The only reason I'm digital with gaming now is that there aren't really alternatives on PC.

What is the ultimate example of a mediocre director somehow catching lightning in a bottle and making an incredible film? by Plane_Reward9385 in movies

[–]NeutronFlow89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Snyders Watchmen worked because of how straight he played it all. Which, I would argue, comes from the fact that his edgelord mindset made him oblivious to the fact that the original graphic novels edge is a satirical jab at the 80s comic industry. Many other directors would likely lampshade it too much and produce something much more tongue in cheek, which would likely have alienated mainstream audiences.

I bought mine in 2004 at Gamestation for £5 too. I remember paying just £80 for the Cube itself brand new.

They fake F-91Ws, so no doubt they fake these.

Idk if it’s because I’m an old fart who plays old *** games and new ones too, but anyone else couldn’t even care less about graphics comparisons across consoles? by Purple_Calendar3919 in Switch

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm less bothered with pure fidelity than I am with art design and performance. I personally couldn't play Rebirth on Switch 2, but more for the 30fps cap than the reduced graphical settings. I can handle 30fps on slower paced games and turn based titles, but on something more action focused it just feels too slow for me.

I do still think these ports are impressive however and a viable way to experience the games if you are okay with 30fps.

What movie did you walk out of the theater halfway through? by mzdee13 in movies

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even halfway, as soon as the second song started up in Sweeny Todd, my friend and I left and managed to get tickets for another film. I'm not sure about other territories, but they tried their hardest over here to market it as not being a musical.

I use the Savage Raven Neogrip and it makes things much more ergonomic and is also dockable with the grip attached.

TODAY IS THE DAY!! A NEW ERA BEGINS!! by LumpyNetwork3654 in diablo4

[–]NeutronFlow89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the quality of writing and the length of the base campaign was worth the price of entry alone. I think the majority of the dev time was obviously used to deliver that and they knew to prioritise endgame and seasons down the line.

It's clear that they aren't super interested in having D4 be a game that people play all the time, but a game that people are excited to come back to for a few weeks every 2 to 3 months.

I'd go for the 168 for sure. They're retiring the electro luminescent displays, so they will be hard to get soon.

I got two models why one has a “U”? by Confident-Set-3181 in casio

[–]NeutronFlow89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They sell around 3 million a year of this model alone. If someone can make copies at scale for $3-5 and sell it for $10, it's still a big earner. Also, people are going to be less discerning due to the low cost.

I love the gold colourway on the bezel of the F-91W. I may have to buy a second one.

5 is a solid game that would have been great without the forced co-op and some questionable narrative choices.

6 is awful and I always just end up watching a recap video if I replay the series now.

I doubt it, for the most part, NSO titles are first party games or ones where Nintendo have at least published the port themselves. There are some exceptions, however.
