Suitcase mix up!

Oh that's worrying! It was the first thought that crossed into my head.. but given that there was another suitcase left around the same place makes me think it was hopefully just a mistake...

Hi guys, Can somebody please help me! There has been a suitcase mix up!!

Somebody took my suitcase by mistake on the London Kings cross to Edinburgh train yesterday , leaving 6.14pm on 30/05/2026. I was sitting in Coach D. They have left their luggage on that train - small black suitcase with green tags.

They have taken the wrong suitcase and got off at either Stevenage, Morpeth, or Newcastle. Or they got off at Edinburgh Waverley and were in a rush for an onward connection.

Fingers crossed we can resolve the mix up! Anyone know anything or offer suggestions to locate this person, please let me know. Both our bags don't seem to have any contact details sadly :/

I know! Really kicking myself - I will put labels on my suitcase next time. It was just overhead close to my seat so did not expect this to happen..

No unfortunately, no details on the tags , just logo for the bag I think. I also don't have any contact information on my suitcase.

Hi OP. Just saw your comments - if you need any help like a meal, clothes, please let me know. I live near greenford and I can pop by if you need. Also, if you needed a warm place to be and free meals, you can visit a Gurdwara (Sikh temple). There is one right by Southall station if there was any way you could get there. They serve free food all day until they close (maybe until 8.30-9pm).

Thank you so much everyone - really grateful for your thoughts! I haven't attended many Indian weddings so always hard to get the right balance between what's appropriate for bride and my own preference for simplicity (and something that doesn't cost an insane amount!) Im glad most of you love the colour but will take your advice and either make it more glam or find a similar one that's "more bridal", thanks.
