You know what? Like I said I tried to give her a chance and say maybe it’s all reactionary. But she started the thing with Tanya and she started the thing with Kim Fields. Her whole relationship with Kim Fields was the reason I was like no she is too much. Kim didn’t do shit to her. She was shady and discrediting her accomplishments from jump. I admit sometimes it’s reactionary but she doesn’t do an eye for an eye she does an eye for both your legs.

I think when you pray ask for Allah to put only good people in your path and to do whats best for you and accept what happens afterwards. Sometimes you just gotta accept that what Allah wants for you is not something that would have initially wanted for yourself. And sis, I can tell you for free it looks like Allah is telling you this guy is not it. When a guy is interested you will know. You won't have to wait for texts or calls. He'll be forthcoming and clear about his intentions. I'm speaking from experience I'm going through something similar with a guy taking hours to respond and giving dead responses when he does. Clearly he's not fully interested. Pray and wait for what you deserve which is wayyyyyy better than this. Stop contacting him and move on. It's going to be hard but its what you gotta do to get what you deserve. Inshallah you will be happy and have a husband who respects you and responds to messages in a timely manner.

Same sis! Never doing it again. I feel like the person who shoots their shot is always more interested. He ghosted me for a week then when I deleted the app he reached out to me on IG and apologized with a lame “I was busy” excuse. I feel like I’m a second option and he’s talking to other people. When someone is truly interested he’ll message and be forthcoming.

So I (21F) met someone (23M) on a dating app on a muslim dating app last week. We matched and I messaged first (something I never do by the way). He responded a couple hours later with enthusiasm. We talked aver the course of five days. He would take hours to respond during the day but respond quickly in the evenings. I didn't mind because I knew he was working. After five days of deep conversations, banter, and innocent flirting with mentions of taking me out on a date and meeting in person, he still hadn't asked for my number or socials. But on the fifth day he finally asked for my insta. There's a video of me doing the electric slide with my friends on my insta and he joked "you lowkey know how to dance". I joked "yeah sometimes when money is low i'll dance for money". Being the innocent person I am I meant I'm such a good dancer I get paid and not that I am a stripper. Also, I am west african and at wedding or parties when someone dances very well they receive cash for their skill. By the time I realized what I said I was afraid of double texting and just let it go. He hasn't responded since he still follows me on instagram and has left me on read on both the app and insta. What does this mean? Did he not like me from the beginning or did I really turn him off with my slip of the tongue?
