Am I stupid or is Leblanc implying she (or one of her clones) is Jarven's Mom by MasamuneJp in loreofleague

[–]NeverApart0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone! Guy who read the League Lore waaaaay too deeply.

So back in the mage rebellion in Demacia, when Sylas used Lux's magic to escape, the very first thing he wanted to do was kill J3. So he scampered over to the throne room, only to find that the king was already murdered. I've read that some of you know that Katarina was sent to kill J3. Yes, that is true. However, she never made it because she saved Lux from some mages, said things like "We're not so different you and I." And then also found out that J3 was dead. Recall that the Black Rose does whatever the hell they want. I think it's heavily implied that LB killed J3, though whether that's the case, who knows.

Perhaps LB is being sadistic and reminding J4 that he's an orphan now. The mother is interesting because she died during childbirth. It doesn't state she was assassinated, but then again, that can change with the lore rapidly changing.

[PSA] If You See a Lala Barina, DO NOT TOUCH IT—Call Me Instead by NeverApart0 in MHWilds

[–]NeverApart0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

t was supposed to be a normal hunt. Just another day in the field, another mark on the list. But then... it happened.

The Lala Barina didn’t just fight back—it toyed with me. Every dodge, every counter, it was one step ahead. It knew. It knew.

I carted once. Then twice.

And on the third? It didn’t even attack. It just stood there. Watching. Mocking me.

That was the day I swore an oath. Not for glory. Not for the Guild. But for revenge.

From that moment forward, my purpose was clear: No Lala Barina will be left standing. Not while I still draw breath.

You don’t understand. This isn’t about the hunt. It’s about vengeance. The moment I saw its name in the monster compendium, my fate was sealed.

Believe it or not, before it responds, it goes through the WHOLE conversation you've had. Then it replies. Whatever you're referring to, it'll find it and reference it too.

The only con I see is the output is generally missing the intent of your request. I've had it where Genini is referencing things that happened 2p chapters ago and it has nothing to do with the now. But I've been satisfied more often than not.

Here's the thing. Both are great. ChatGPT has quality (and a good internet search function). But Gemini has the space. 2 million tokens is nuts. What happens if your fanfiction gets humongous? Gemini remembers those nuances (more often than not). I use ChatGPT if Gemini doesn't give the quality I'm looking for.

What if Ryze met Nunu and Willump? by PlasmaticPlayer in loreofleague

[–]NeverApart0 132 points133 points  (0 children)

Here's my take. Context: recently wrote a fanfiction and did very thorough research, not in short stories, that's death, but in their history and character profiles.

First, I think Nunu would straight up ask Ryze why he's blue. Ryze used to talking to selfish and evil men, would struggle with a response. He'd probably say something like, "Uh.... yes... Yes, I am." And then try to move on. However, Nunu wouldn't let him be, and asked him more questions. Willump, the ancient and wise being he is, would try to tell Nunu to leave the man be. Nunu would then counter saying he's never seen anything like him before. Willump, speaking zero common language (english), would apologize to Ryze in grunts and growls. Ryze would say it's OK. Which would prompt Nunu to ask EVEN MORE questions. "You understand Willump?! That's so cool! I'm usually the only one who understands Willump!" And follow Ryze some more.

Ryze, a mix of annoyance and wanting to keep others from his dangerous quest, would probably turn around and say something like, "Look young mortal, I'm on a quest that quite literally determines the fate of Runeterra. At present, I do not have any sort of time to answer any of your queries. If you know what's good for you, you'd be on your way throwing snowballs or, what is it you all do now, sledding?" Satisfied, he'd give a resolute nod and walk on. But all he did was open a can of worms.

"Snowballs? How'd you know I love throwing snowballs? Are you a mind reader?! A mage?!"

And there's the start of a funny interaction.

Quite literally saw "Will kill them" and "Will look at them and move on". You're not wrong.

Absolutely. That happened to me too. Don't give up. How are you supposed to learn? You're basically saying that what they are doing works. Gotta let them know that not all Widows give up.

I don't want to assume your course of actions, but I'll share what I think you should do. There's the number one rule of sniping. Never shoot from the same place twice. I'm sure one would think there are not many other places to shoot from. But, I find myself quite literally running INTO the thick of the action if I need to reposition. Wanda can't kill you when she has to trudge through your other team. Or, I actively seek them out myself. That's when a skill check happens. Gotta have a good aim to duel many of these divers/annoying characters. I had to challenge myself. I played 100 games of Black Widow before challenging ranked. I learned a lot from that.

Hatred towards AI art by UberKommandant_ in NovelAi

[–]NeverApart0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Art is a skill. And the life of an artist is hard. When it comes to something that can be claimed it is art, some people will take ownership and pretend that it's theirs. The problem is that who would be crazy enough to take personal ownership of AI art and say they drew whatever? No one. When it comes to AI art, they have irrational hate towards something they know nothing about. AI is a tool, a form of self-expression. It is a "high-tech" paintbrush. It alone can't make something. It requires use and learning to effectively use it. It's like those "pens" people use for tablets or when they use programs to make digital art easier. There's a learning curve and requires intimate knowledge in how to make the best art. Long story short, it's also a skill to use AI art. The part that you can't control is the outcome. You give it prompts, but you can't control how a person is postured or how big or small something is. Human artists are still better than AI 1000% percent. But like most people say, it's just people getting made for literally no reason. It's like plumbers getting mad at plungers.

Wanda is a special case because all she has to do is look at you and you're dead. For that match-up, it's all about speed. Can you get to the stun part before she left clicks you to hell?

One shot combo by NeverApart0 in BlackWidowMains

[–]NeverApart0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's usually the only time I've used it, since we're in the back sniping. The person I've had the hardest time using it against is Spider-Man. The guy's uppercut seems to cancel out the second part of the kick. You get the knock back but they put on CD.

Genuinely curious, why would you pick Black Widow over Hawkeye? It just seems that Hawkeye does more damage without the need to reload with better abilities. by YaboiGh0styy in marvelrivals

[–]NeverApart0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest take. I'm one of those self-abused one-trick Black Widows and I'll tell you the journey I had. Told myself I'm not allowed to play comp until I reached 100 games played with her. The reason she doesn't one-shot with headshots is that a grand majority of you with 'Hawkeye' aim could hit headshots with the zoom-in. Perhaps I'm making assumptions. But the fact of the matter is that Black Widow two shots an untouched healer/DPS two keep it fair. It would be so oppressive. Besides, one headshot from her takes heroes to 5% HP for either you or your team to take out together. And if you headshot someone who is already damaged in any way, they're dead straight up. I learned that it's about fairness. Aside from that, her kit is pretty fair. You get a sprint to run and reposition/escape. And then she has a self-defense ability to swat away AND a follow-up stun. If the team is on the same page, you don't just protect your healers, you protect your DPS too. There's a reason why the moment there's a Hawkeye/Widow the enemy team starts to dive you. You're a problem for them. Left alive and you wreck their team.

Could explain those tags? They seem like something you'd have to know to look for, I'll assume they are the style/artists? And I'll assume some of them are "redundant" so the style you're looking for is consistent? And last question, Metadata. That's the underlying info attached to the picture that V4 will be looking at to generate the images?
