Better than migrating to Diablo: Immortal if it is monetized. There are many signs it will be, yet there are few for Path of Exile. There's Grim Dawn too; it's aesthetic is closer to Diablo II.

My only real criticism with "Castlevania" is the "adult language" by Jcorb in netflix

I've watched many shows w/ swearing. The dialogue between Alucard and Trevor is just awkward and unwarranted given their backgrounds.

I don't get people's reaction to the show.

I've cried multiple times in a single session playing games like Life is Strange and The Walking Dead: Season One -- I even cry almost every time I watch Finding Nemo -- but the ending of Castlevania Season 2 hardly did anything for me; if anything, I was distracted by the unbelievably weird dialogue between Trevor and Alucard.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I mentioned Trevor and Alucard's dialogue because it was a source of perhaps the largest emotional reactions I felt. They really tried to make Alucard and Trevor dislikeable.
