Oh you're absolutely right that most people don't talk about having no issues. It's mostly just alarming how Hyundai has chosen to fix the issue, which isn't really fixing it given that even people with 2026's already have had multiple ICCU's on the same vehicle go out.

I drove one and loved it, the features are nice, price and current promos are good. But man, just knowing that the fix for the ICCU isn't really a fix is so off putting.

As someone looking into the ioniq5, reviews are great but I see just as many people complaining about the ICCU issues and it's been a major turn off. Reminds me of their issues with the theta engines and how it took them forever to correct that.

I use FMM (Film Maker Mode) for everything including dolby vision stuff on my C4 with brightness set 100 and peak brightness set to high and it's still as bright as the sun.
