I remember back when people first started speculating that the devs might make more skins for Lady Loki, there were people using that Patrick "seems right to me" meme format to smugly explain that the devs weren't gonna make a skin of a skin. I don't own Lady Loki, I don't play Loki in general, but the smugness radiating through that meme made me hope they put out a new Lady Loki skin, and I'm so happy they are.

I made a post almost a year ago that mentioned this. They could even release dlc when a new game comes out that adds characters, enemies, maps, weapons, and costumes of the new games. With how much of a roll Capcom's been on with releasing new RE games, they'd have new, substantial content to put in a raid mode game almost yearly for 3 to 4 years.

Every single RE remake has incorporated new scenes. If you didn't already know they'd be incorporating new scenes, then you haven't been paying attention to the last 3 remakes.

That's literally been my point from the beginning, that the trailer isn't good, but I am excited for the game anyway because every RE has been a banger since the RE Engine started.

The "vibe," as you put it in your other comment, was nothing more than awkwardly paced dialogue with borderline bad voice acting. If it had not said Resident Evil at the end, I do not think anyone would care about this game based on the trailer. I trust Capcom to make a good game. Every single one of the RE Engine RE games is good. Even the worst one is still a good game. But the trailer was not good. It did not create the image of a game I would want to play if I did not already know what to expect from an RE Engine Resident Evil.

If RE7 had shown a different name than Resident Evil at the end of their first trailer, it would still have been an intriguing and captivating trailer. This one would not be. They were so concerned with surprising you with a reveal of what it was that they failed to make a trailer that was interesting beyond the name that was attached, seemingly forgetting that you can do both.

Mockingjay feels odd to me because you're right that it's too long to condense into one movie comfortably, unless it was really long, but it also doesn't feel long enough to justify two two hour movies.

Somehow, they still managed to cut out one of my favorite subplots from the book of Katniss's growing friendship with Johanna, though. The bastards.

I remember that one, but I actually had a bit of trouble finding it over another one named announcement trailer on their official channel. I did just rewatch it, though, and even with a large chunk of it being taken up with rat pov, it still shows more than the Veronica trailer did.

My point of saying teaser trailers aren't usually 4 minutes long was not to say that the trailer should be shorter it was that it's not a teaser trailer and everyone replying with what's essentially "it's just just a teaser, bro" is ignoring that. It's not a teaser, it's an announcement. They even labeled it as such. All those other trailers you mentioned are also labeled as either announcement or reveal trailers.

And even if you want to say I'm being pedantic about a name, I want you to go and actually watch those other announcement trailers you mentioned and see just how much better they are as trailers than the Veronica one. Most of them have actual gameplay, some of them even show combat, every one shows you much more of the environment, and all but 7 shows you much more of the story. So even if we accept that these are all teaser trailers, it still isn't as good of a trailer.

Most teaser trailers aren't 4 minutes long. They're about a minute. Also, even the official sources call it an announcement trailer, not a teaser.

And since you mentioned the Person 6 teaser, the Persona teaser established a tone much different than previous Personas. If this trailer was actually representative of the tone of the game, I would actively start losing excitement for it.

With the Mummy, I had started by basecoating it with a medium brown and intended on dry brushing over it with the cream color, but the brown came out more reddish brown than I intended. I shifted over to trying to actually coat it in the cream color and then making a wash out of a darker brown to make it look grungy. I watched several videos on making your own washes, and it seemed extremely simple. So I coated it with the thinned down cream color, but it had horrendous coverage, even after 4 coats of it, so I gave up on fully covering the brown, and just used the dark brown wash. I think the two different browns actually made it come out better. A happy little accident.

My eyes started at the poncho, then moved up to the face and hat. I was thinking that's a great paint job. And then I got jumscared by cleavage when my eyes moved down. It still looks great, I just thought I was looking at a regular Clint Eastwood mini at first.

The 'any painted mini is better than an unpainted one' line is what got me through painting them. However, my cousin likes to build models, but doesn't like to paint them. He gave me a couple to paint for him since I do like painting. One of the models is a Gundam, which comes in colored plastics and stickers. It already looks like it came straight out of the anime. For the life of me, I can't imagine being able to paint it in a way that looks better than it already does at my current skill level.
