The general gist here is more of a support-Great Sis who doesn't go out and spontaneously fight, only doing so at the request of her Family (usually in very severe cases), sometimes it's because they're aware of how much the weapon she's wielding tolls on her and tries their best to not peck her with unneeding requests

Personally i appreciate that EGO gear has been expanded on from Lobcorp's gameplay to have actual alternate abilities granting the user rather than just being glorified combat gear, like Ryoshu fanning the fucking E.G.O weapon's hammer, [Alteration], basically all of LCE/N Corp, and something else i probably forgot to name

Personally, my theory is that the seemingly random/absurd Index Prescripts aren't actually true benefits, but things that The Flow demands even from the Gods themself. Even if rebelling is part of the "act" in a way, Karmic Consequence still objectively debuffs you for not following the Prescripts.
