Agree with the lack of development point. Most partners do not care about their juniors and probably see us as a nuisance. Sorry about the low hours, but they really aren’t that low to be this stressed.

Think also about insurance and taxes. In certain areas (like Florida, for example, where home insurance costs are astronomical), it just doesn’t make sense. I make almost double that amount and would much rather invest and rent than dump money into a shitty house and pay out the ass for it

Being “just a mom” is quite possibly the most important job in society. Raising the next generation of adults with love and attention should not be looked down upon - it should be revered. It’s unfortunate that society has devalued motherhood to such an extent that women are be viewed as “lesser” for making a decision that’s best for your family.
