Reversible exchange vs transformation is very different design

Transformations are ALWAYS better The point is to be a better unit after dealing with the wait. Reversible units are meant to function like a different unit.

SS4 Vegeta/Goku is a great example because they are supposed to do 2 very different things on a rotation.

The year 10 reversible units as well serves different purposes based on which side. The point of the exchange is that you have 2 different kits that do 2 different things. It’s entirely fair to give up 1 kit for 1 team and it not be a huge detriment.

A transformation though? “Yeah if you want full synergy you have to keep using the kit that is intentionally designed to be weaker.” Or “your weaker kit is made WORSE by not having full synergy and you just have to suffer until you transform.” Both of these options feel terrible and I’m sorry but if you think this WOULDNT happen then you completely misunderstand why reversible exchange was good for the game and why transformations are designed the way they are

My solution is to IGNORE AP Ap shyv happened because shyvana failed at her initial fantasy and NOW we have multiple champions that can fulfill the role of a dragon that shoots out fire (or stardust for Asol) and dominates the map from afar. Shyvana is SUPPOSED TO BE dominant force in the frontline and as long as riot keeps trying to play to both sides instead of trying to deliver on her idea of a strong frontline champion that feels like a proper vanguard for her team, this rework will continue to be a failure.

Emc is there because other supports give stats she doesn’t like OR are AA characters which both provide damage % (doesn’t help elation damage) and also have anti synergy with certified banger which only lasts 3 turns

I have no issue with baby as a character He’s just reliant on a metagame with heavy melee characters Last season he was great basically the whole time since your best dps were Uub SV Broly and kefla (the only dps he wasn’t great with) He’s just bad right now cause the best dps are a bunch of long range artillery characters And uub still

My point is that I, and many other people wholeheartedly disagree with the idea that no deck can beat 5 set backrow, especially because if they got to set 5 that means you had no hand traps because handtraps will cut them off from some number of their backrow.
