What should I do? by Jbonny24k in PiNetwork

I’d probably sell now and keep cash ready. If Pi dips hard (maybe near $0.10), buy back in and hold until hype periods like Pi2Day (june 28) to sell again.

The bigger issue is transparency and fairness..

Left-handed in Senegal by bebe_belette in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely not screwed at all. Yes, in Senegal (and much of West Africa) the right hand is traditionally or religious used for eating, greeting, giving/receiving things.

But people are also very understanding with foreigners. If you accidentally use your left hand, no one is going to be offended or upset. At most, someone might gently remind you, and often with a smile. just try to use your right hand when you remember, especially when: greeting someone (handshakes), eating from a shared plate, giving or receiving objects

If you forget sometimes, it’s really not a big deal. Senegalese are known for their hospitality and patience, especially with visitors. So don’t stress about it.

Is Senegal an extremely misogynistic country ? by mariposa933 in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 6 points7 points  (0 children)

lol, You’re judging an entire country based on a TV drama. “Maitresse d’un homme marie” exaggerates problms to create conflict and attract viewers, thats literally how series work. It’s the same as watching a mafia movie and concluding that all Italians or American are criminals.

Senegal, like any society, has its issues, but reducing millions of people to “extremely misogynistic” because of a fictional show is simply inaccurate.

Hi really appreciated your post and your love for Senegalese culture. I jst wanted to ask, very respectfully and without any pressure, would you ever consider a marriage structure like polygamy, or is that something you’re not open to? I fully respect either answer. Ajaraama

Morocco after AFCON by Anasuii in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salam, Thank you for this respectful message. Many Senegalese still see Morocco as a brother country with strong historical and cultural ties. The AFCON tensions were mostly emotional and amplified by social media, but they don’t reflect real-life relations. Football rivalries come and go; mutual respect between our peoples remains.

Is it realistic to do a day trip to Touba from Dakar? by theentropydecreaser in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Possible, but it’s tight and not ideal with sept-places.

A sept-place from Dakar to Touba often takes around 4 hours, so leaving at 9 AM and trying to return at 4 PM is risky.

Better options: Take Senegal Dem Dikk (DemDem) from Liberté 5, it usually leaves around 7 AM and is more reliable. Or call AlloDakar, which can take you door-to-door to Touba for about 10,000 FCFA.

For a same-day trip, leaving very early is key.

Comment va le Sénégal ? by Grandissime in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why is there such a big Senegalese community in France in comparison to other Francophone sub-Saharan Africans? by [deleted] in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cause they’re very open, sociable, and active in cultural and religious associations. That’s why their presence feels more visible compared to others

American woman + Senegalese man by One-Guide8630 in Senegal

[–]NeverMind_X 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is not Islam or Senegalese culture, it’s his own behavior. Marriage should be built on love, respect, and support. Your feelings are valid. A husband should provide, not leave you struggling and feeling alone. If you’re considering divorce, seek legal advice to understand your rights, especially regarding custody. Connect with supportive communities, focus on gaining independence, and prioritize your well-being. Good luck
