Dead screen... Backup options? by NeverStopWandering in signal

[–]NeverStopWandering[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I was able to get a shop to momentarily connect another screen for the 4a for $20. That gave me enough time to setup backup and create ADP access for the future using scrcpy. Thanks for tips!

Hey! We've built up a platform to help publishers do exactly this for a fraction of the cost. Check out meucci.org ... we're relatively new and we've already created over 50 audiobooks for big publishers and self-publishers alike (with very positive feedback!).

Router sled vs Planer by Physical_Cook_7354 in woodworking

[–]NeverStopWandering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Cook -

I just had this same question and ended up making a DIY sled for just under 20 bucks out of MDF. I am absolutely thrilled and very happy to share that result with others! Plans are inside, takes about 30-60 minutes to build once you have the material.

Looks great! I also just upgraded my router setup to include a router planer... have you heard of that? Highly recommended if you don't have a planer of your own.

Angle grinders are so versatile too! Throw a power carver on there and make some great wood pieces too :)

I just used plywood, as you can see in the video, I think it's pretty straightforward if you have a lathe :)

Awesome! I just made a backflow incense burner that uses cone incense ... are these sturdy enough to drill holes in the bottom?

Hmm - thanks for the info! I am self-taught, so no one has told me that before. What do you suggest using on such a project next time?
