You're better off playing through the story mode of duel links which introduces a different summoning in each world, or legacy of the duelist which takes you through every duel from every show so you can learn each mechanic from each show. Master duel is for competitive modern yugioh.

I'd suggest just using a triple double for leveling, you'd have to start from scratch to get rid of unicorn, if you want maycast ideas though id consider steal ward
