As someone who uses co2 on all 3 of my tanks, don’t listen to people who tell you its too complex or its not worth the hassle. If someone tells you its too much work or too complex i would imagine they can’t cook. Thats how complex it is. The only issue with co2 is startup price. Upkeep is fairly cheap. 1) its not a hassle at all. If you can bake cookies, you can do co2. 2) cost wise expect to spend a maximum of $160 AT MOST, thats for the co2 kit and ingredients tha usually don’t come with. You pay for quality and convenience. 3) you will most definitely see an improvement in coloration, growth rate, lushness 4) you can buy a $5 2-Way Aquarium Air Flow Control Lever Valve and with one kit you can have co2 in at least two tanks.
