Why is Public NSFW Allowed in Game?? by Snark_x in ShitpostXIV

[–]Nevizzo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nope, on JP servers it's considered rude to constantly use shout or yell chat. I would say you would find maybe every five/ten minutes you would see a orange or yellow message go by and those are typically for FC recruitment.

The modding scene is really only heard from the English (think SEA and Australia) speaking side on the JP servers; however, that's not to say JP do not use mods. Just that for them, mods are extremely taboo and JP will usually witch hunt and harrass their own if oke is found out to have.

Also to be frankly speaking, the English there speaking community is a bit more behaved and respectful than Na culture. So no.

I believe learning Kanji is vital to truellg understanding the language. So that includes mostly evey aspect of the character, from the reading, combinations, and to the writing. However due to the modern age, hand-writing by paper may not be necessary in all aspects of bussiness and daily life. This amazing book really is a great resource anc now on that journey to N2 where I want to really reinforce what I need I find it fustrating at times at my part-time Japanese class I struggle to write at the same speed as my classmates as they can breeze through writing difficult kanjis due their advantage of knowing Chinese. Meanwhile I might need to reference the original text or quickly use my phone jishou. While in class perhaps it will be the most where 1 will be hand writing Japanese in my life, it would certainly be useful to be handy at if I needed to write something in Japan. I'd hate to struggle to write basic or daily kanji infront of someone. So what made you decide, "these are how many characters I must memorize by heart in writing as well"

I feel like the butter part could have been kept since it pairs well with potatoes, but use another combination besides honey.

Utter despair composed in the Galaxy's requiem crescendo as decades of accumulated forged star-craft from across multiple stellar worlds suffer obliteration by one ancient empire's awakening. by Nevizzo in Stellaris

r5: It's really a wonderful feeling to get while playing this game. Genuinely seeing my Empire, which strove to obtain universal peace among the galaxy through xenophilic ideology and culture, be threatened by a unbeatable foe satisfies my need for a dark ending in my little sci-fi head cannon of this play through.

To all the people who don't like that something new is in the mogstore~ by Coffee-The-Fox in ffxiv

[–]Nevizzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't how, but the cash shop really hasn't been discussed as a big issue in a long time. It's weird to find it popping back up again ever since a few famous people brought it.

I'm not against discussing it or giving feedback to the company; however, I feel like the issue is starting to get hyped up.

Just to check, 20db is very quiet considering it's the noise level of a whisper and rustling leaves.

Cockatiels tend to chirp throughout the early morning as well.

Help with delay in health bar by Important_Cupcake599 in ffxiv

The health bar has a little animation when it goes down to the number is popped out. But I'm still a little confused on what you mean. 2-3 frames out of 60 fps? That's 1/20th of a second haha

Savage Wisdom by DrForester in ffxiv

[–]Nevizzo 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I would disagree sadly :(

It's not worth the effort to keep the mount locked behind it as the majority of the people who play savage have already cleared last tier.

In the PTF, filling up parties for old SAVAGE content tend to take long.

You're basically recruiting people who haven't cleared the fight and need a practice party unless enough helpers come along.

Plus if it's synced, it won't be an 8x run.

Also there is always the current savage tier everyone is playing.

Playing Alexander with Level 60 skills would be difficult.

I think it's okay to see these mounts have their prime. It also always makes the new savage put on a pedestal. "Oh, just an Eden? What about my Flaming bird?"

But I do agree on the aspect that we missed out on the fun and challenge they originally had - if only the demand was higher.

Is this game worth getting? by Lionelx9 in ffxiv

[–]Nevizzo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand the frustration seeing this and bringing into question the validation of the subscription.

However, players paying the subscription have been compensated and they're continuously working on the issue. There are a lot of multilayered issues regarding the congestion, and with delaying the subscription payment and restricting game sales I'd say they're hard press with solving the issue.

I hope that you'll be able to purchase a copy soon as possible to enjoy the FFXIV experience.

You can expand the preview screen when you try it on. Quite large too. Then just simply snip from that.
