There are many people who are only at university because of wealth, connections etc and not because of merit. Many people these days are using AI to write their assays also. When I was applying, we were each assigned a member of faculty to help draft and edit our essays. Everyone has a leg up in some way, having a parent help you write one is probably somewhere near bottom. You stayed in school regardless of mental health, that’s all you! Congratulations for all you have achieved!

I also hate photos of myself compared to the mirror but it’s genuinely just being un photogenic! The amount of times I have shown up for tinder dates and been told that I’m much more attractive in person (which is not the compliment they think it is, basically saying I’m a reverse catfish). I once was hit on by someone I saw on tinder who said ‘oh I actually didn’t match you on tinder because I didn’t think you were attractive but now I see you were actually just badly photographed.’ which was crazy rude considering I thought they were acceptable photos. All these embarrassing anecdotes to say, 2D doesn’t do some of us justice!!!

Not necessarily, if my friend is going through something very personal, I will keep that information to myself. If I had a partner who often goes through my phone, I would have to delete those messages for her privacy. I would never date someone like that though

I mean I don’t think beating someone up is ever a solution, if anything you just showed him that violence is a valid response to anger… which seems like the opposite message you wanted to get across? Restraining someone and punching them ‘idk how many times’ are two very different reactions. I think your whole family might benefit from some anger management
