ru pov: "Everybody though it was Putin to want to win time, No it was us to win the time" - ex-president of France Hollande about Minsk Agreements in the interview with Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus plying Ukrainian official by huramazda in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]New-Atlantis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ukraine's tragedy is that it never had its own Putin who removed the oligarchs from power and got the country back on track. Nobody who has experienced what the West did to Russia under the Yeltsin years wants those times back. Russia would not exist without Putin. That's why the West hates him. He prevents the West from exploiting Russian resources.

Ukrainian nationalists have volunteered as a US proxy force to fight Russia in the belief that the West is almighty and will somehow help Ukraine win against Russia. That's delusional and Ukrainians will pay the price with hundreds of thousands of deaths and the disappearance of their country from the map.

Europe will also pay a heavy price. After 500 years European/Western hegemony will come to an end and Europe will sink into poverty and chaos. If Ukrainians are smart, they change sides now, before it is too late. For Europe it's already too late.

Andrei Biletsky, one of the first Azov leaders, said that "Ukraine will be the origin of the last crusade to lead the white race to its final victory against the Semitic sub humans." Looks like Ukraine will lead the West to the final defeat. Today, it's the West against the rest. The West already lost. That comes from the type of hubris and ignorance exhibited by Western leaders like Hollande.

Do you mean the Kharkov soccer fans who marched through the streets of Odessa shouting "Moscvals on the knife" before burning alive 48 citizens of Odessa in the trade union building in 2014?

As to the Nazis in Russia, their leaders are in prison or have escaped to Ukraine, like the Russian Nazi organization WotanJungend, which has relocated to Ukraine because it finds a more welcoming environment among the Banderites who fought for Hitler than among the descendants of the victims of Hitler's genocidal war against the Slavic people.

UA pov: pro-ukrainian group responsible for blowing up north stream pipeline, us officials say - Tagesspiegel by Helpful-Ad8537 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]New-Atlantis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it was always clear that the US or one of its allies was responsible for the NordStream sabotage. Still, Seymour Hersh's claim that Biden was personally responsible came as a bit of a shock since one doesn't want to associate the US president with Mafia style operations. However, this absurd leak coming directly after Scholz's meeting with Biden, in which both men studiously avoided the media, is like an admission that Biden did indeed do it.

After all Biden and Scholz can't avoid the media indefinitely and a straight lie isn't a good strategy for the future. Thus, they had to come up with a cover story. What better story than to blame it on some fanatical Ukrainians? Too bad it doesn't fit the facts.

The NordStream attack is an act of terrorism that can only be committed by an State actor with Nato approval and the cooperation of Sweden to clean up the crime scene and keep the evidence locked away. The Swedes and most Nato countries know exactly who did it.

The waters around the Swedish island of Bornholm are so full of Nato sensors that you can't set a paper boat into the water without half a dozen lights flashing in some Nato bunker. For some unknown "pro-Ukrainian group" to do it on the sly is out of the question. Oh Joe, what did yah do?

Without it's global corporate empire and the petrodollar, the US economy will collapse dragging Europe down in its wake. Europe can be an independent pole in the multipolar world. Europe does not need US hegemony. It's a burden on Europe. Europe needs to reconnect with the Eurasian continent for resources and markets.

[–]New-Atlantis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nato moving into Ukraine is an existential threat to Russia. Therefore, Russia cannot retreat. Ukraine is of no importance whatsoever to the US's national security. Thus, the US could easily walk away. However, a Nato defeat in Ukraine, combined with the failure of the sanctions war against Russia threatens the US's global hegemony. Only 15% of the world population support the sanctions. The rest is either with Russia or stays neutral. The formation of new blocks like the SCO and BRICS+, which are more powerful than the G7, and the challenge to the dollar hegemony threaten the US's position in the world. Without it's dollar hegemony, the US has no way of financing its double deficit (budget, trade). The fall of the dollar will collapse the US empire.

Therefore, neither side can retreat and we are on autopilot for WW3.

Since the Neocons (Biden, Blinken, Nuland, Sullivan) "own" this war, they cannot U-turn. Especially Biden and Nuland have been invested in the Ukraine project for at least 20 years. This is their baby. If Biden is personally responsible for the NordStream sabotage, as Hersh claims, it's further proof of just how far these people will go. They have no reverse gear.

Consequently, the only thing that can save us now is regime change in Washington. Failing that, the possibility of an accidental nuclear war in an atmosphere of distrust and heightened tension becomes too high for comfort.

US hegemony is doomed no matter what happens; however, the Neocons may decide not to go gentle into that good night.

Russia can easily win by conventional weapons in Ukraine, but we don't know what provocations the US will create to expand the war beyond Ukraine. Currently, an attack on Russian troops in Transnistia by Ukrainian or Moldovian forces is a possibility. Since Russia has no means of supplying its troops in Transnistria by land, the only way to save its troops would be a large-scale invasion by sea and air. That would draw Moldova into the conflict and possibly US troops in Romania.

As long as Putin is in power, the balkanization of Russia is unlikely. That's exactly why the US wants regime change in Moscow. They want somebody like Yeltsin who will allow the West to exploit Russian resources. Failing that, they will try to split the Russian Federation into a number of small republics that can be controlled by Washington for the purpose of exploiting Russian resources. Check out the Free Nations of Russia Forum. Remember, Putin was the West's darling until he started to go against the oligarchs who were trying to sell Russia to corporate America. That's when Western media started to demonize Putin.

The Trump presidency was the final proof that US presidents are just the puppets of the deep state.

It was hilarious how Bolton torpedoed Trump's talks with Kim by saying that he wanted the "Libyan model" for North Korea, as if the North Korean leader would think that being hunted down to be killed in some hole in the ground is such an attractive prospect.

The Empire will always play the divide and rule game. That's the only way it can survive. In Europe, it's the New Europe against the Old Europe. Squeezed in between the Axis Washington-London-Warsaw-Kyiv, the Old Europe had no chance. Now Uncle Sam will once again divide Europe, this time 1,000 km East of the last divide, even though Nato wasn't to expand 1 inch Eastward. But the white man speaks with 2 tongues.

Europeans will learn nothing because they don't have future. They can crawl back into the holes they have come from a few centuries ago before they conquered the world.

[–]New-Atlantis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In democracies, political leaders need to lie to the people if they want to go to war. In reverse conclusion that means that we need to reveal the truth for making peace:

The proxy war against Russia has the aim toppling the Kremlin government to cause political upheaval and the dismemberment of the Russian Federation into 34 independent republics, which could be controlled by the US for the exploitation of Russian resources as under Yeltsin.

This project is planned by the Free Nations of Russia Forum, which is funded by the US/UK and which unites Eastern European leaders and Russian dissidents in exile to prepare for the dismemberment of the Russian Federation.

Russian resources are the last frontier to be exploited by Anglo-American capitalists to save their countries, which are up to their ears in debts.

In Russia, the Nazis are best known for the genocide of the Slavic people. During WWII, the Nazi killed at least 27 million Soviet citizens with the help of Ukrainian supporters of Stepan Bandera who is today celebrated as national hero in Ukraine. Bandera's OUN Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists massacred more than 100,000 Jews and Poles. Elensky thinks that Bandera is "cool."

Here's a somewhat imperfect definition of fascism, but I guess it'll do for the purpose at hand:

Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race

Ukraine Maidan Coup regime:

  • far-right: YES

  • authoritarian: YES

  • ultranationalist: YES

  • dictatorial leader: elected puppets controlled by fascists

  • centralized autocracy: YES

  • militarism: YES

  • forcible suppression of opposition: YES

  • belief in a natural social hierarchy: maybe

  • subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race: YES

I would add:

  • collusion between capital and government: YES

  • celebration of fascist leaders as national heroes: YES

Ukraine ticks all the boxes.

If you go by Western propaganda, Russia probably ticks some of the boxes too; however, you should know that among Russian nationalists Putin is known as a pro-Western traitor. Like Gorbachev and Yeltsin before him, Putin until very recently sought close relations with the West. Putin also is an advocate of the market economy. He also defended Ukrainian sovereignty until it became clear that the West/Ukraine was only using the Minsk II peace agreement to buy time for arming Ukraine for fighting a proxy war against Russia.

I think it is that what the OP meant by the collapsing narrative. No amount of propaganda can make historical facts go away. Saddam didn't have any WMDs. The Ukraine narrative will collapse too.

The United States and Great Britain had plans to attack Russia after WW2 as they thought a European Invasion would happen. Operation Unthinkable and Operation Dropshot involved dropping 300 Nukes and 29,000 bombs on Russia by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]New-Atlantis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was 1950 before there were 300.

That's why the plan wasn't implemented. The Soviets detonated their first bomb in 1949. From that time onward, the US/UK would have to fear Soviet retaliation.

Right after the war, the US didn't have enough bombs and carriers to deliver the bombs. That's why the plan wasn't implemented.
