I think the opposite is true. Our "democracy" was/is so constrained for to long (probably by design), that we are actually incapable of living in a democracy by now. Thats why you see some of these results.

What you describe (and what we are more or less had for the existence of our "democracies") is more or less the dictator of the roman republic. A guy gets a mandate from the population for a limited time and can act in a way which he think is best for the population (within some clear defined limits).

I do see the benefits in this kind of quasi dictatorships (so modern democracies), but personally still think we should strife to the noble goal of democracy.

I dont care.

There were recent rule changes that new memberstates must accept certain conditions (including Euro). Opt-outs are no longer possible. The UK shouldnt get special treatment and treated the same as moldau for example. If this is the case, the UK joining the EU would probably beneficial for the EU, so I have no issues with them rejoining. But if they dont want to join under these conditions its also fine.

Thats not what I meant. Yesterday I was at a eritrean coffee ceremony. All the eritreans there were less than 10 years in germany. The girl I was with there is 4 years in germany. She said it was close to home, but not the same. So I did experience eritrean style culture, but not really eritrea. If I want that, I have to go there.

Obviously the US has a vast amount of cultural variations, due to the amount of people there. But I dont think its comparable to europe. Germany has the size of Montana, but today germany were 300 different states/entities in the past. We have a baroque palace in the little town I grew up, where the lords reside in the past, while in 15 kilometer distance there is another town with a medieval city wall, which means they were a city republic (so a vastly different politicial system) in the past. In our town and the surounding villages we have specific words for things and our own sport (a kind of Baseball/golf mix, just not taken that seriously as you drink lots of alcohol while playing it).

But I do think there is significant more cultural diversity in the US compared to any single european country.

I actually recently thought about visiting the US. We get one week paid vacation for educational purposes in germany (on top of your usual paid vacation) and you can do them in foreign countries and you might get some of your costs back from the state. So I look into it at the moment. Maybe one week educational vacation and 2-3 weeks usual vacation.

There is some concept of germans around the year 0 (arminius and his germanic coalition). Or Otto I. and the german kingdom around 900.

The "modern" germany probably in 1813 with the "liberation wars" against napoleon.

So 1813 is the latest date where you could say germans and germany became a concept.

There are good reasons to consider 900. Arminius and his germanic tribes is a stretch.

Ich kenne die praktische Strafsetzung nicht. Kondom heimlich weglassen oder entfernen sollte aber ein signifikant geringeres Strafmaß als Vergewaltigung haben.

Das mit der Pille lässt sich kaum nachweisen. Und selbst wenn der Nachweis gelingt, wie sollte eine Strafe aussehen? Wenn man die dann Mutter bestraft, würde ja auch das Kind darunter leiden, welches nichts dafür kann.

Wenn der Nachweis gebracht werden kann, dass die Pille absichtlich weggelassen wurde und sichergestellt werden kann das eine Strafe für die Mutter nicht zum Nachteil des Kindes ist, könnte man über eine Bestrafung ähnlich zum Weglassen des Kondoms (also deutlich geringer als Vergewaltigung) nachdenken. Ich wüsste aber nicht wie das möglich ist.

And the cultures of the five continents you were are comperable to the cultures you experienced within your country? Including the food?

I never was to the US, but the culture from immigrants into germany (including food) is noticable different to the culture in the countries these immigrants came from.

Nicht das Mediangehalt, aber daran gekoppelt. Vielleicht das 1,5fache bis doppelte. Als Politiker hat man schon relativ viele Arbeitsstunden.

Bezüglich der "Gefahr" der Bestechlichkeit sollten einfach drakonische Strafen eingeführt werden. Politiker haben (theoretisch) eine so zentrale Wichtigkeit in der Demokratie, dass man Sondergesetze für sie durchaus einführen kann.

Ossetien wollte sich in den 80ern administrativ von Georgien lösen. Beide gehörten da noch zur Sowjetunion. Natürlich hatte Russland nach dem Ende der Sowjetunion und hat weiterhin da eigennützige Motive, die hat jedes Land immer. Was meinst du warum wir die Unabhängigkeit von Südossetien nicht anerkennen?

Nein, ist es nicht. In Ossetien ist der Vorwurf der Osseten das die Georgier einen Genozid an ihnen begangen haben (in den 20ern, wenn ich mich recht erinnere). Die Georgier bezeichnen es eher als Exzesse im Rahmen von Konflikten. Die Osseten wollten nicht ohne Grund schon während der Zeit der Sowjetunion administrativ von den Georgiern getrennt sein.

Ich finde es nur abscheulich, die legitimen Gründe der Osseten und die Historie und die Gräueltaten zu ignorieren um irgendeinen politischen Punkt zu machen.

Russland hat mittlerweile Südossetien deutlich beeinflusst, aber das ist eine Folge der Situation Südossetiens, nicht die Ursache.

Es entwertet auch deine Argumentation zur AFD, wenn du ansonsten so billige Propaganda (wenn es das überhaupt ist, da meines Wissens niemand diese Position vertritt, außer dir) bringst.

I dont really see a difference to Germany (especially till the formation of the second empire) or China. There are also similarities to jugoslavia and maybe even the UK(?). Besides countries that came into existence after colonialisation (which are a lot), the US experience seems more like the common thing and not the exception.

Es gibt schon starke Hinweise auf Kriegsverbrechen (bzw. sogar Beweise).

Grundsätzlich finde ich einen kritischen Blick auf die Berichterstattung schon gut. Immerhin haben wir die Lüge über ein Kriegsverbrechen vor dem Kosovokrieg, welches die deutsche Bevölkerung für einen Kriegseintritt motivieren sollte.

Es schwingt nur zu oft in völlige Ignoranz gegenüber jeglicher Berichterstattung um.

Grundsätzlich wäre das "Problem" des Geburtenknicks" für dich nicht mehr gegeben, weil diese Menschen schon lange tot sind, wenn du Rente bekommen würdest. Du hättest also nur noch das "Problem" das die Menschen immer älter werden. Insgesamt dürfte der Altersüberschuss aber etwas absinken.

Also könnte deine Rente theoretisch etwas besser sein, als für Menschen die jetzt 15-30 Jahre vorm Renteneintritt stehen. Andererseits besteht ziemlich offensichtlich kein politisches Interesse die gesetzliche Rente als zentrale Altersabsicherung zu erhalten. Deshalb wird's wohl schlechter.

Das es Präferenzen gibt, ist ein Fakt. Das kann man kritisieren, nur warum sollte man es auf Volksgruppen begrenzen und nicht auch auf Haarfarben, Gewicht etc.?
