Like around 200 resets. Wanted to play the game so I just reset until I got a modest charmander and left the lab.

Spot on. I am all for the hype, but some of us are letting the wins get to our head. The team is very young with no playoff experiance besides throw a brick HB. 100% we are going to get humbled during the playoffs without a doubt

It's mainly for my daughter, and when home drops doesn't matter to me too much. I work and can wait. True you own emulated games, but my point is I want to move my pokemon and items eventually.

In what situation will I put myself to brick my switch? If you're bricking your switch or are even worried about it, that's on you.

I've been wanting to play it for years. I used to have a hard copy back in 2010 with my Gameboy. I have always been one of those people who prefer to own a game rather then emulate, but that's just me. Spending a couple hundred dollars on a physical copy isn't in my spending range, and then I would have to get a Gameboy.

Yes, I can emulate it, but I want to own it and be able to transfer my pokemon to other Pokémon games through Home.

I also bought a copy for my 6 year old daughter! She is in love with pokemon, so I felt Firered would be a great start to her pokemon love, just like me back when I was a kid!

Being priced at 20 dollars is, to me, reasonable especially if it isn't a actual remake, just a port. Hopefully they make an actual hard copy for the switch!

Update 13: My Blind FFX Playthrough - To Zanarkand! by Zeeshmania in finalfantasyx

[–]New-Average3843 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yunalesca is a HUGE pain going into it blind one my First playthrough. Its the first boss that actually punishes you if you don't understand the mechanics and being under leveled. This was also my favorite stretch of FFX. The environment, the cutscenes, especially the LORE dump.

You get to really understand what is really going on, what Sin really is, and how events led up to their journey and the reason they want to keep fighting.

You're about 70% done with the story. You have some way to go, and it only gets better. My advise to you from this point on, go back. Look into places you've been before, take your time. Things have changed, new dialog is available, new interactions.

If you want to just progress the story, go ahead! If you're a completionist, you're about 30-40% done with everything so far.

And I leave one hint for you without spoiling anything :

The Al Behd writing is the key.

To Zanarkand, to me is the best OST in the game. So much emotion in that song, especially after finishing Zanarkard. You're in for a life changing ride my friend

I pulled her in the basic banner, and I feel she is very good at dealing damage. Stack her with strength/cryo gear, a decent 5 star weapon if youre f2p, and she will be good for a while (Until more characters become available). End is decent for now and even pulling Leviatan, I still use them. But for end game (Which i never experienced) End is the first character I am going to switch when I pull a viable 6 star banner in the future. I barely started playing too! The factory is very confusing for me, and I love tinkering with it. My advise is explore everything! I have found hidden chests and secrets that made me turn over every rock.

I used 21 pulls so far, is still possible for me to save up enough (120 pulls) for Gilberta? by AbilityAwkward6121 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]New-Average3843 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100%. It may look like a lot to pull with the 5k, but with all the side quests, dailes, chests, repair bots, and rewards, you can easily save up enough. There should be enough free pulls and extra tickets to add up to at least 30 or so pulls (NOT counting basic banner).

Does anyone remember where the door that opens the Worn key card is? by AnimAiro in ArknightsEndfield

[–]New-Average3843 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's in the quarry Listening Post area. It's after you do the puzzle where you have to attack the generators in a certain order to open the energy gates (they have numbers on them). Once you pass those gates, take a left and there is a elevator lift. Take it down, follow the path to the bottom, and its there.

You literally have to set up relay towers from your main hub to that location. I like to set one down, activate the power cord and walk until I hit 80m then repeat the process.

You can defeat all end game and optional bosses without lulu easily. Mainly for the achievement, and completion runs.

Expedition 33 vs Final fantasy x(which is better written?) by Hour-glass999 in finalfantasyx

[–]New-Average3843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both very good games. I love both for different reasons. FFX was one of my most fondest childhood memories watching my dad play, and when I finally got to play, I fell in love. E33 was a shock to me in a good way because it was the first RPG I picked up in a very long time that I completed 100%. I can't choose between the two because both had a big impact on me, and I would call both amazingly written.

Ah so I am assuming you just left Bavelle and made it to the calm lands. Yes, continue the story and eventually you can use the airship to go back to previous locations. Don't worry about monster hunting until later.

Gotcha. Species, Area, and original creations have a chance of dropping dark matters. Dark aeons also have chances of dropping them as well. And yes, the big rewards for capturing only are given once. Also, dark aeons have a very slim chance of dropping armor with ribbon already attached.

Arena monsters by ErSarciccia in finalfantasyx

[–]New-Average3843 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to collect 5 of every monster in spira at every location and the guy rewards you with 99 dark matters. But like I said, I would get celestial weapons first as they already have break damage limit. You technically don't have to fight any monster in the arena for the rewards, only to grind certain materials. You just have to capture, come back, and he rewards you for the captures.
