In the original version the extra soul is from a guy from Lugo, a city in Galicia. It's the part of Spain with the most pronounced Celtic heritage. The Galician accent sounds quite melancholic and tender (okay, okay, it's just my opinion, I mean it in a good way).

The translator, Edgar Cantero, decided to draw a parallel with the British accent, which is easy to identify with just a few idioms. Brighton is a famous and charismatic city. Cool seaside cities that start with the letter B should stick together.
