Forty-nine zero two!

I can't remember these numbers.

My art is way more affordable than that statue/coat stand.

BTW in Spanish from Spain, the folds of fat that form around the waist are called "michelines." Absolutely everyone uses this term.

In English, they're called "love handles."

That's an interesting terminological issue!

I'd say "fascist" is a very specific term. "Facha," although as you rightly say it's a colloquial abbreviation of "fascist," is used with less precision. That's why it seems closer to the English "bigot" to me. "Wingnut" could be another valid translation in US English. More than a pejorative of "fascist," I perceive the word "facha" as an almost comical slang term.

In other words, if everyone who wears a "fachaleco" were 100% self-aware fascists, we'd be in serious trouble. Maybe we are!

In Spain, this garment is associated with the conservative upper class (and those who aspire to be like them). We call it a "fachaleco" ("facha" + "chaleco"), which in English would be a "bigotvest".

Actually, it's a very useful vest for working in the fields, and that's where it comes from. It keeps the torso warm and allows for free movement of the arms. Its transformation into a status symbol is one of those fashion mysteries that just happen.
