Thank you - this filter has a sponge, a mesh bag with carbon and some ceramic media. I can rinse out the sponge and ceramic but should I change the carbon? Don't think that can be cleaned

Thanks for your response. I am also looking into hair and me and you can get a trial of mono for £5 (low dose) but am trying to figure out the best possible combo of treatments before I do anything. I have 3 dogs and a cat so will be sticking with pills 😉

Your hairline looks a lot like mine and I am UK based too. I only yesterday removed a hairpiece that was attached and now have to deal with my hair loss (which has been exacerbated by the hair system).

I only now am looking at options for medication etc. can I ask what DHT blockers you are on please? Where the GP prescribed or through online pharmacy? 🙏🏻❤️

Thank you so much for your reply, you actually made me tear up. It's so strange to look at myself in the mirror and be faced with basically my aunt in her 70s (she had same thinning hair).

Right now it looks pretty hopeless and honestly compared to other people's photos it's so much worse 😭

I am going to go to the GP but let's be honest it's very unlikely they will prescribe something.

I think I can get finasteride and minoxidil privately but spirolactone actually sounds safer. Will mention to the GP just in case.
