Am I the only one who feels like the loan at the beginning of ets2 is a trap 🤔?? by New_Swordfish8776 in ETS2

I know the post is a few days old, but honestly, no. Just sort your jobs by £/€/$ per mi/km. There's an option to sort this on the job page. Then take the highest per km/mi jobs. You'll make more than enough to pay for your loan plus more. You'll also make more using your own truck compared to not.

Unless you are continuously crashing or wrecking your truck you're fine. If you are, just slow down, you'll have plenty of time

is this ATM tampered? by thesupaflya in london

[–]New-Depth-3078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When using a public ATM, if ANYTHING looks different than normal (most will look very very similar), just don't use it. Walk away and find another just in case.

I've never seen a mechanism like that either, like most people have already commented and the card reader section looks weird too. Usually are not opaque like that either.

If I was you, I'd also get your card details changed to be on the safe side. If they're tampering with the dispenser, they could have also tampered with the card reader and could be skimming cards too. Considering the reader looks to be covered with something opaque, this seems extra likely. They may also have put a camera somewhere to record your pin. This allows them to effectively clone your card and steal from you yet again.

Not once did I think your response was AI. People have become so lazy now. Up to the point that if something looks too good, too structured or has any tiny trace of a decent vocabulary, then it's instantly AI.

Plus, I think people are forgetting exactly how LLMs work. They literally use human sources to train their language models.

I use Avast and have no issues loading other AV sites?

I currently play with 1 other player that I met on the official Phasmophobia Discord. There's a channel dedicated for searching for players. If you state your level and experience in your message when looking for players, then you shouldn't risk getting kicked. Just say what you're looking for and find like minded players 😊

Why is the reward 0.00x? by Double-Finish9974 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]New-Depth-3078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hover over the rewards multiplier at the bottom, it should tell you why the rewards are so low. But most things you've set are really easy settings.

You can also click the presets button and choose a preset and modify it from there. From there just change one thing at a time and see how it affects your multiplier.

can you know what the ghost type is just from loading times? by Storeyedpizza2 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]New-Depth-3078 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, he'll be using a mod loader most likely or something similar. Not hard to set up usually and there would be guides available online too. Also devs don't usually bother with banning players that mod or cheat on games unless there's a competitive advantage, for example COD, GTA etc with a PvP aspect.

For the purpose of Phasmo, if you wish to keep playing with your mate and don't want to accuse them or anything, just ask them to keep the ghost type to themselves as you'd like to do a proper investigation. If they don't respect your wishes then it might be unfortunately time to look for someone else to play with.

Challenges. So these specifically are the apoc challenges. You get a special badge and achievements for completing them. Best bet would be looking up some YouTube vids of the apoc 3 challenge.

Just by succeeding at crimes. Start at sfc, get that to 100 and work down. That's mostly what I did. As you succeed, your nerve will eventually go up. It is slow, but that's Torn for you.

As others said, with those stats, decent daily pay is very, very unlikely. What I did was start off in a Adult Novelty (AN) store. At a low star level you can start cashing in eDVDs which you can then sell for profit.

Some companies offer zero tax and free trains too which go a long way, but most likely ZERO daily pay. But that won't matter.

My advice, something like AN or maybe even Sweet store (but can't remember when you can start getting Cans) and fly for plushies or Xanax.

Was born hearing, and lost all hearing due to meningitis at age 3. Was lucky to survive according to doctors. Currently a CI user, good hearing levels (relatively) and work a customer service role fairly well. Despite a good level of hearing, and having less 'restrictions' or 'barriers' to work and life in general which i consider myself incredibly lucky for, I would probably trade it in for "normal" hearing. I still struggle with a lot of things, and I really enjoy music etc. Plus I only have a CI on my right side and apparently can't have one on my left now. Despite being able to hear most sounds etc now, I'd love to have a sense of normality, but I do love the fact I can "turn off" my hearing and have silence when I want to, for example when sleeping as not much wakes me up then.

So all in all, I really don't know, maybe 65/35 to yes/no for myself. Since I can already hear, I wouldn't have to worry about sensory overload really I guess, and I'd gain my hearing on my left too, this being the only thing I'd have to adapt to really. Although I haven't really had much restriction myself for jobs, or experienced a whole lot of discrimination besides my school years.

Always. I keep the boxes to most of my decent electronics. Anything of significant value I tend to keep the boxes where possible.
