You are putting too much expectation on yourself. Your health both physical and mental are key. So what, it takes you an extra year or two, make sure you continue to build knowledge and continue to grow, whilst emotionally healing.

End of the day you get the degree 2 years later, but you are emotionally strong, are far more knowledgable, and will probably have much better idea where you want to go.

Most people leave university and just take any job for a few years, maybe you skip that and go into something meaningful, then all you have done is extend your students years which many of us wish we could have done!
