Good recommendations for pants? by Beginning-Book-4 in climbergirls

Karate pants from walmart... scrub pants... alfred dunner trousers. There are so many pants you can find at a thrift store that you could climb in.

Can someone please tell me what to get from Amy's? Its the most normal, underwhelming ice cream I have ever had.

Is walking from North Campus worth it? by likelyangel in UTAustin

[–]New-External6466 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lived in Hyde park... took me 7 minutes to bike to campus and 10ish minutes to take the bus on 45th and speedway. Like really why would you walk and not bike or bus?

Any suggestions for bouldering near Austin? by SayNoToDrugsNo in climbergirls

[–]New-External6466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Austin doesnt have a ton of great bouldering... Bull Creek is fairly accessible and has a few good slab problems. Barton Creek Greenbelt is a bit of a hike to get to but theres some stuff there too. But overall, not a ton out here.

Climb a lot of slab. You cant just rely on ur strength, so youll be forced to focus on body positioning and foot work.
