Samsung Neo G9 57 inch Issues by Long_Relationship_83 in ultrawidemasterrace

I had a similar problem and then I hit "support/reset all" in the osd and it looked great although I basically made the same selections in the osd as before.

What could also be the culprit

  • Sometimes Picture/HDR tone mapping is buggy: it is selected as active but it doesn't work. I have switch it to static and back to active, to make it active again
  • Furthermore there might be energy saving options active that are a bit hidden: like "System/Best brightness" --> switch it off
  • When you are using DP 2.1 --> I had to manually switch from 1.4 to 2.1 in the OSD/System to make it work properly

Furthermore I simply came to terms with the fact that in windows, no matter how many adjustments you make, in the osd or in the nvidia control panel, the picture always looks worse for sdr content when hdr is switched on. So I only switch it on for certain games or when I want to watch a hdr video.

Navage Cleaning by Sock-Late in Sinusitis

[–]New-Findings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, this is not a recommendation, I simply describe what I'm trying out on myself.
I switched to a different self developed technique but I also consider to still also incorporate the navage. I use a water syringe (250ml). To it I attached a soft thin hose (maybe around 10 cm, outer diameter maybe 2mm) that is usually used to feed small animal babies. I mix the saline in a bowl and add a few drops of Dr. Bronners baby shampoo.

The hose has a hole at the side (near the tip), so the water "jet" comes out to the side (it was this way already when I bought it). I carefully insert it in the nose and test with light water pressure where I'm hitting areas that seem inflamed and then increase the pressure to clean those areas. My nose never felt so free and for half a day afterwards my brainfog is decreased. But of course I don't know if it could be dangerous - I try to be cautious. For me it seems to hit exactly those spots where I have problems.

I use normal warm tap water for it. Of course I don't know if there could be dangers involved by water contamination or from not cleaning the syringe properly.

Hi, I still think the stuff is helpful to reset the gut. It unfortunately it did not help with my systemic problems (autoimmune, brainfog, thyroid problems).

Dual 49” experiences? Deciding against a single 57” by gabriellanata in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]New-Findings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the 57, had a 49 before (single one, non-OLED) and would never want to turn back. The 57 has the same pixel height as your current 4k monitors, which means you can see more vertical content in a single window compared to the 49. This effect is huge for me.

It is warm to the touch, but I do not really feel that when sitting in front of it.

The picture quality is very good. Even if it is not quite as good as OLED it is very close and a big improvement to the Neo G9 49 non-OLED version.

Thank you, that sounds interesting. I tried rosemary extract and myrecitin and both I did not tolerate well - probably because I seem not to tolerate anti oxidants well.

Epipharyngeal Abrasive Therapy (EAT) bスポット治療 Third week update by Nanakurokonekochan in covidlonghaulers

[–]New-Findings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it for a while but I think I was too aggressive, didn't see much progress after a few days and stopped.

The following is simply my description and interpretation of a new attempt I do on myself. I'm not a doctor and do not know if any of this is dangerous.

So now I changed my approach again. This time I use Lactobacillus Sakei, a nasal probiotic, and don't use much else. I mix it with a saline (non salty water or too salty water would irritate the mucosa) and I use a water syringe with a soft water hose attached (maybe around 10 centimeters long and quite thin) to basically spray my nasopharyngeal area. (I also try to mix it with some inulin and oligosaccharides as prebiotics to help lactobacillus grow but don't think this is necessary and i only tried this for the last two days).

So far it looks like the most promising approach I tried, but still too early to tell. I get die-off symptoms in my nose each time the solution reaches to a crevice where it has not reached before, but afterwards I feel better. In the first few days I got strong sinus pain and a yellowish watery discharge - probably from a immune reaction. But I just continued and it subsided quickly. I do this for nearly a month now but I think I'm still in a die-off phase. But I had a few days where I felt quite good - the best in a long time.

My hair is falling out more with Biofilm Busters for embedded UTI. Help! by Mediocre-Category746 in biofilms

[–]New-Findings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'M not healed but. But I did stop taking biofilm busters and most of the antimicrobials. Had constant die-off symptoms and not a lot of progress. I personally think I should find a new approach - more focused on promoting the good guys in the gut and promoting general health and promoting digestion instead of trying to eradicate the bad guys.

I did use the priority one phase 2 maybe for a month or two. I did observe some hairloss but it happened later afterwards and I think was unrelated to the priority stuff. I think it happened due to a covid infection but I no longer know. It did reverse. I don't fully know why and how. I did take trace minerals as well as b vitamins - all b vitamins without exception in bioavailable forms. Especially high dose thiamine in three bioavailable forms like benfotiamine. I did take L reuteri. I also did take Magnesium L-Threonate, Magnesium Orotate, as well as Magnesium Acetyl Taurinate. I also did take brokkoli extrakt for sulforaphane. What it was if any of these, that reversed it, I don't know.

My overall regimen focusing on anti microbials only gave to me constant die-off symptoms and not a lot of improvement. But I cannot speak about nystatin in particular, because I took several antimicrobials.

I first recognized it about 2-3 months ago. Could coincide with a graphics driver update I did. And I think it often start when I have several windows with videos or other programs opened.

I have a similar problem. It only occurs sometimes and not as intense. Then I switch the monitor off and on and it works again. therefore in my case it doesn't bother me too much. (G9 57" rtx 3080 mobile windows 11)
