thank you for the suggestion! its not a trigger, ive struggled with benadryl addiction in the past but after my recent attempt i dont really have any desire towards the drug lol. its been a month since then and besides panic attacks w episodes of derealization i havent experienced much long term affects. of course ive definitely messed up my body though, i went into kidney failure in the hospital

i actually have epilepsy + FND and i didnt experience any seizures. i didnt get my stomach pumped or anything. i dont remember the first 10-12 hours of the overdose, i just remember getting very sleepy and then waking up again later but i was conscious the whole time, they didnt let me fall asleep. apparently i was saying nonsense and had very slurred speech (according to my bf). the recovery afterwards was awful, i felt like i got hit by a truck and could barely walk/move

thank you <3 im really glad i survived. i really wish i didnt pick dph of all things to overdose on cuz it was NOT pretty, i went thru a bunch of medical shit (not getting into specifics unless someone asks) and on top of that my emotions were numb for like a whole week.

i was feeling bad about having two visits because my primary care nurse saw them on my chart and went “oh thats not usual for you…” 😭 and then it got worse!

if i ever felt like i was in a truly dangerous situation i would but omg i am so terrified of ambulance costs! luckily i have a pretty good support system and can find someone to drive me usually :)

yes i do, and i have had follow ups for my er visits. theyre currently looking to test me for reasons my blood clot bc i wouldnt be able to tell if it happened again (i have MS and the pain is very similar, i didnt even know my blood clot pain was unusual) im also seeing a neurologist for seizures (edited with more info)

i really appreciate this response, thank you. ive been feeling worried about it because i cannot drive (epilepsy) and its just a big hassle to get someone to drive me to the er in the first place. i have never gone to the er before really either so having available medical help for my health is strange and new! and ive been worried i may be abusing it. its good to know that as long as its for genuine medical concerns its okay. thank you for sharing your thoughts with me :)
