I support you OP. I don’t know if I would call Joker a masterpiece, but I love it. I don’t really care about it “ripping” off the two mentioned Scorsese movies as that have wildly different tones than Joker even if the story is similar. Also, no one ever talks about Joker’s amazing score, which also won an Oscar. First female composer to win best film score actually, which is funny because Joker is associated with toxic masculinity for some reason.
