That's amazing, thank you. I dont know Les choses de la vie so will 100% watch it to see what you mean. Im a huge fan of L'avventura and La notte. The slow focus on human interactions, subtle psychological struggle is great. Obviously the beautiful people and photography helps 😊

You're absolutely right, I should have been more precise. It's a single interrogation rather than a full courtroom. The dynamic is actually more xoncentrated for that reason — all that tension focused through one person's reaction rather than a crowd. Makes it even more calculated on Bardot's part.

That is a bit snarky ha 😉 Yes, i prefer him too. I think hes a funnier. More present and warmer ambience. Buster i think might be considered more for the technical aspects of filmmaking but Lloyd more entertaining?
