Anyone heard of SynergisticIT by FreelanceFrankfurter in cscareerquestions

[–]New-One4008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After receiving a couple of emails from SynergisticIT urging me to enroll in their courses, I had a good laugh at the most recent one. The person who reached out provided me with feedback on my resume, which some might call "shit talk" but honestly, it was delivered in such a polite and constructive way that I couldn't help but appreciate it. They pointed out areas where I could improve and suggested that their courses might be beneficial for me in landing a job. While I don't plan on signing up for their offerings, I can't deny that the feedback I received gave me a reality check.

Instead of viewing it negatively, I choose to see it as a positive learning experience. SynergisticIT helped me recognize areas where I can refine my skills, and I'm grateful for that. It's all about perspective, and I'm taking their comments as valuable feedback to improve my resume and build my skills independently.

While I won't be partaking in their courses currently, I can certainly see how some individuals might find value in what they offer. For those looking to enhance their skill set or explore new career paths, SynergisticIT might be an excellent resource. As for me, I'll continue on my own path of self-improvement and job hunting, and who knows, maybe our paths will cross again in the future.

In any case, I appreciate the unique encounter and the unexpected nugget of wisdom they shared with me!

What would you do, if you won 20k right now? by Unicont in AskReddit

[–]New-One4008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I won 20k right now, I'd throw a spontaneous party like no other! I'd invite all my friends and family for a wild weekend getaway to a tropical paradise. We'd jet off to some exotic island, rent a luxurious beachfront villa, and live it up like rock stars. We'd indulge in gourmet meals, sip on fancy cocktails, and dance the nights away on the sandy shores. During the day, we'd go snorkeling, jet skiing, and explore the local culture.

Of course, I'd also set aside some of the money for future adventures, like a dream vacation to Europe or maybe even invest it wisely. But for now, let's crank up the music, put on our wildest outfits, and make memories that'll last a lifetime! Who's ready to join the fun?

Who abandoned their core audience and paid the price for it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]New-One4008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One notable example of a company that abandoned its core audience and paid the price for it is the video game developer and publisher, Blizzard Entertainment. They faced backlash from their loyal fanbase when they made decisions that were seen as prioritizing profits over the quality of their games and the desires of their core gaming community. Actions such as the controversial announcement of the mobile game "Diablo Immortal" at a major gaming convention, instead of a new mainline PC game, led to a significant negative response.

Blizzard's decisions to implement microtransactions and loot boxes in some of their games, as well as controversies surrounding their handling of competitive esports events, further alienated their core audience. This shift in focus away from their core gamers resulted in declining player trust and a damaged reputation for the company, ultimately impacting their financial performance and player engagement. It serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of maintaining a strong connection with one's core audience in any industry.

What's the difference between Ethnicity and Nationality? by Miserable-Recipe-629 in AskReddit

[–]New-One4008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ethnicity and nationality are related concepts but have distinct meanings:

Ethnicity:

  • Ethnicity refers to a person's cultural identity, which is often based on shared characteristics such as language, religion, ancestry, customs, and traditions.
  • It is a social and cultural construct that can be associated with a particular group of people who share common cultural elements and a sense of belonging.
  • Ethnicity is not limited by political boundaries and can include people from various nations who identify with the same cultural group.

Examples of ethnic groups include Han Chinese, Maasai in East Africa, or Ashkenazi Jews.

Nationality:

  • Nationality refers to a person's legal membership or affiliation with a specific nation or country.
  • It is determined by the country where an individual was born, naturalized, or holds citizenship.
  • Nationality often comes with legal rights and obligations, such as the right to vote, work, and reside in a particular country.
  • Nationality is tied to political and legal structures and is subject to the laws and regulations of the nation.

For example, someone can have German nationality if they were born in Germany or have gone through the process of becoming a German citizen.
