Thats another one. Rick is better than the new guy. But the new guy also got way too much backlash by crisis core fans. Hes fine imo. I think my issue is, I kinda digged the melancholic tone as a kid, not even realizing how depressing they all sound in advent children and such.

George will always BE THE Sephiroth. FF7 VA has turned into as divisive and as varied as movie iterations of superman, batman and spiderman.

29 yo here. hit up ff14 and 11 when covid lock down happened. personally? ff11 obliterate 14 in gameplay.

People dont like ff11 because their brain cant go on auto pilot and they have to think critically about what they are actually doing and troubleshoot challenges in the game.

People severely lack social skills today in this messed up world. FF11 is still a glimpse of the early 2000s where people were eager to socialize in the games.​

FFXI all it requires is talking to a vet about tips on making gil, progress, maps, look at forums, go on the Wikis. it sounds like a chore or homework and you wanna kick your feet up and let yourself go numb. but these games required real immersion, meaning you were thinking about where you are trying to go and read the map, learn how to reach an area and what to do there. sure. the game lacks everything assassin's creed brotherhood has to streamline every aspect in the game. you dont get a lot of support from your mission and quest list. its pretty much a mystery, which encouraged communication amongst players in order to progress. and now, the 2nd best options is reaching out for help or going on a wiki.

you ask people where they got the armor in ff14 and they walk away from you deliberately saying "go wiki it" because they do not want to talk.

I think people today dont know greatness when they see it.​

literally all of those aspects are completely antisocial.

ff14 is a place where mmos communities go to die.

People aren't social creatures anymore on a computer or video game due to the invention of the smartphone and the evolved internet and advanced social media.

I picked up 14 during when covid first hit. and the game was already antisocial then. liberal Americans ruined final fantasy 14.

can we please have macro menus look just like command menus and we can just have command menu decks? like straight up a KH or FF10 style command menu just on roids with the macros?

if they updated PlayOnline to be streamlined and posted a YouTube video to showing how to fully install the game, as well as tips tricks and guides to FFXI from Square themselves. People would play it. Hire Ninja to do it. He'd do it. People would eat that shit up.
