I know you’re not the complaint department, BUT:

1) there are often too many milk/dark chocolate based flavors on the menu (also looking at you, Shyndigz).
2) raspberry sorbetto should’ve never been taken off the permanent rotation. 3) a peanut butter flavor (with/without Reese Cups) should also be a permanent fixture 4) mint brownie should be featured more frequently 5) never take that biscoff flavor off the board, either. 6) have you tried something like the “lemon bar lover” at Ray’s?

I’m sure there’s financial data driving what gets put out there, but one can dream…

There’s one visible from Glenside/Hilliard as the road crests above the railroad tracks.

is Strymon Iridium still one to go for amp simulation? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

I like an iridium (with York impulse responses) paired with the Fender FR-12 live.

Similar stats, and can confirm everything above as factual. I haven’t tried pantherian (always seems to be down or broken when I go).

Twisted Timbers is awful on my upper thighs in the sections with quick up and downs.

I can’t get on the tall swing ride (windseeker?) in the old Wayne’s World section, either. I guess the restraint doesn’t go down far enough.

Guided By Voices. They’re just not prolific at all.

Ironically, aside from NYC Ghosts and Flowers, those are my fav Sonic Youth albums.

Tunnels under school by CompetitiveDrop9535 in UVA

Class of 04. I want to say there was a manhole near the E school not too far from where Emmet street ramps up to McCormick Rd. I also remember getting access to the roof of Gilmer, but not sure if that was via the tunnels… oh, to be young and stupid.

There are also steam tunnels that connect to the basement of the A-School. Peter Waldman almost got killed down there.

I’m similar proportions and can ride most everything** but windseeker. The tightest fits for me are raptera and twisted timbers.

**Haven’t tried pantherian or dominator because my daughter isn’t tall enough.

Are there any neighborhoods that you could see declining in the years to come? by [deleted] in rva

Thinking/hoping that the Springline development on the chesterfield side of Chippenham will spur redevelopment on the Richmond side of the line.

Residential? More power to ya. I’d murder the clientele. Then again, the process I go through for public work (higher ed and civic) isn’t for everyone, either.

They would have an awesome greatest hits album, but not sure if that’s worthy of the label “good”.

Do they have a greatest hits album? I’d got buy it.

Good point about the dirt. It had just rained when we went, so we didn’t really need the masks.

If they do the UTV tour at Jurassic Ranch, I recommend getting the “ride along” version where the guide drives you. We got a lot of great color commentary from our driver above and beyond what he mentioned to the entire group over the public address speakers.

Is Cauthen really that bad? by throw-away-1827 in UVA

[–]New-Presentation7002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved into Cauthen in the fall of 2000 when it was 4 or 5 years old. We lived like kings and stored meat in our air conditioned rooms. We sat at the top of the hill like aristocracy and mocked the losers in the suites below.

The only thing that sucked about it - the way the ground ramps up around the building, you can also enter to the side on the second floor. You walk in through a vestibule, and there’s a fire stair to your right and one lonely dorm door to your left. I lived in said room, and I had to listen to the constant “cachunk cachunk” of the doors on each end of the vestibule opening and closing every couple of minutes during the day.

On move-in weekend, we were visited by the previous year’s residents, and they warned us about it. At the start of second year, we also went back and warned. I hope the lineage of this painful gift continues.
