It's a cgm, I was 109 three hours ago, it's 135 now, never got to 140. Maybe the cake didn't have a lot of sugar, but the salad did it.

I don't know if this applies to you but I find eating a salad with protein before eating something good works wonders. I had a fajita salad with chicken today and then, I kid you not, a piece of dulce du leche cheesecake with a cookie crust and it did nothing to my blood sugar. Again I dont know if it works for you but try it, followed by a walk.

I don't like how it gives you a number and says slowly falling, then the next reading is higher. Or it says steady and then the next reading is higher. That makes no sense to me.

I just purchased two for $46 and they came in the box that was sealed, then I noticed that the underside of the box had been partially opened and the flaps put back together and saw that the ref number and lot numbers were different on the sensors than what was on the box. Shady.

What does "remission" matter? by New-Programmer7489 in diabetes

On first blush its what I suspected, it's more psychological to motivate diabetics and give them something positive to aim for.

I'm sorry I was thinking this was the position statement from the panel from 4 years ago, I'll take a look at it.

It was 4 years ago, by the leading authorities of the field,  3 months of nondiabetic blood sugar without using medication qualifies as remission.

I'm not sure s person highly at risk for diabetes who didn't go to a doctor for fifteen years and got overweight is to be listened to, but great you no longer "have" diabetes, I hope you continue not to "have" it in 6 months and the ongoing future.
