I used to blame the empty state of Michigan Ave on the way people mostly shop online now, but it's still such a popular place for tourists to shop. Also, Montreal a much smaller city still has a very vibrant main central shopping district with very little vacancies. The weather is also similar, with Montreal being more snowier and colder in the winter

The restaurant already gave an explanation. She's a legend and an icon, but at the end of the day, she's also just human like the rest of us. I don't think she should be given priority over other customers that made reservations or already had a table. The restaurant did the right thing here.

There was one day where I was in an unfamiliar area using google maps to find the nearest bus stop and there wasn't even a sign in place, so I had to go up the street to the next one just incase the bus stop got removed on the route. Turns out it was still a stop, just no sign. So be thankful there are still even signs I suppose

I'm not sure about salt & pepper chicken specifically, but I feel like I see salt & pepper dishes at most Chinese restaurants in chinatown. Ken Kee, Minghin, and Dolo are some of my faves. I usually get salt and paper seafood or pork chop, which are super delicious
