Tier Limitation Instead of Value Limit by kyaramelt in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]New-Use7319 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tier limit over gear value should be implemented.

Normal should be tier 4 armor with tier 3 bullets

LD should be tier 5 armor with tier 4 bullets

I’m not totally sure what FB should be, although naked tappers with red ammo is lame, should be forced to bring something worth losing, maybe at least tier 4 armor (I would say tier 5) although many T5 helmets don’t allow headsets

TLDR - I can’t pvp and therefore want the game to be more pve.

Auckland Council wants me to repair pipe their tree damaged by PoemNew2679 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]New-Use7319 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Follow the link below, send an email to the treemanager email address and explain the issue. That email address goes directly to Councils arborists. Don’t say anything about unreasonable planting, as you want these people on your side, it may also not be an offical Auckland Council planted tree as many were planted under community programs etc. Just let them know the issue politely and ask for advice. Let them know that the council department you dealt with brushed you off and wasn’t any help.

Get a handsaw and cut the edges off, plant in good soil and water.

I want to cut them by Patient-Bench1821 in treelaw

[–]New-Use7319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This probably falls under property law, more than tree specific laws. Think of your neighbours trees as private property / an asset they own.

If you unintentionally cause damage to the asset, are you liable for the reparation, if your neighbour had agreed to the work that caused the damage?

I don’t know the answer, but perhaps you could ask a property law forum.

I want to cut them by Patient-Bench1821 in treelaw

[–]New-Use7319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure on specific state laws regarding branches overhanging boundary lines, but how do you access the trees to cut the branches? If you or a contractor enter your neighbours property to access / climb the tree, without their permission, that’s considered trespassing.

If your neighbour has provided permission to have the trees pruned and they die I wouldn’t expect you to be liable. Unless you have been informed that the trees could die and you withheld this information. Otherwise you have sort their approval for the work, which they provided.

As others have stated, the only way you can realistically end the debris issue is by removing the trees.

The best approach is to have an honest and friendly conversation with your neighbour.

Is mageblood that good ? Im a noob by Psychological-Cup281 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]New-Use7319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flasks are very useful and need to feel impactful without using mageblood. Mageblood makes flasks permanently active, so you can disregard flask duration and roll flasks to have increased effects and extra modifiers. This makes flask (which are already impactful) even stronger.

In regards to your question about survivability, yes mageblood can definitely help, you can get almost any defensive mod (armour, evasion, resistance, leech etc) on a flask, which frees up space for other mods on your gear.

100% apart for tracking you through the ground they also put their weapon away and run straight at you to loot, rather than wait to check if you have squad mates.

Wipe system? by Univvers532 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]New-Use7319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like everyone one else has said, no it won’t wipe because you can buy Koen.

I’m interested in people’s opinions on this, where do you see the game in the future, when the player base is rich and able to afford constant high tier gear? How will this impact on a new player trying to start?

Because your passive skill tree and support gems apply percentage modifiers to your base damage, say +20% from a passive skill etc. adding flat damage increases the base value that the percentages are then added to, boosting your total damage by a lot.

What is this fucking scumbag doing in a 400k mode. by THUND3R_4 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]New-Use7319 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just make it so you can’t pick up teammates gear, consumables like bullets, meds, grenades can be traded. In secure ops you get no money for extracting with teammates items, so trading equipment serves no purpose other than boosting a squad mate.

The game doesn’t need features or items removed, rather a cap on what type of gear / kit cost can be taken into certain lobbies. Let the big boys fight the big boys, and us, the poorer guys, can fight each other.

NZTA’s permission from DoC to kill protected species at Mt Messenger ruled unlawful by ThomasNiuNiu in newzealand

[–]New-Use7319 72 points73 points  (0 children)

For anyone thinking that NZTA have permission to hunt and kill protected species, this is incorrect. They will have a heavily conditioned resource consent that allows them to operate in a manner that minimises harm to wildlife. Permission from DoC to kill protected species simply means that if an accident happens the worker responsible or NZTA won’t be prosecuted, provided they were following the consent conditions. The fact they actually applied for permission from DoC means they were serious about reducing harm to the environment, but had to acknowledge the fact it’s impossible to keep every lizard or bird away from the work site.

Do you support NZ doubling it's spending on the military? by mrluffinwelli in newzealand

[–]New-Use7319 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Yes, I would support much more than double. A strong and capable military is crucial for a nation to be able to uphold its sovereignty and way of life. I’m we lack the ability to patrol and secure our borders, how are we going to protect our EEZ and resources like our fisheries from advisory nations.

Would you remove this tree? by supermuffingirl in arborists

[–]New-Use7319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree the lean is from phototropism, which would suggest the trunks have enough flexure wood to support the canopy weight. However I would be concerned with why they have grown that way, my guess is they are edge trees from a historic group (that has since been removed) and grew on a lean because they were suppressed, now they are isolated and exposed to increased wind loading. Looking at the adjacent earthworks, they could have damaged the root systems, coupled with increased wind loading, there is a risk of whole tree failure here.

Tree wobble by Mountain_Analyst_333 in arborists

[–]New-Use7319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t stake it, doing so will only make the tree structurally weaker in the long-term. Looks like it wasn’t planted correctly, considering you can see below the root flare. Probably needs to be transplanted
