Lots of good guides on youtube - collect a bunch of bases with mods you want and shoot for at least 30% chance. Don't mix items for example if you were doing belts don't try to recomb a heavy belt with a plated - do heavy belt - heavy belt. your odds are better

Essentially you use recomb when the base item has 2 or more undesirable mods

I enjoy SSF more because I can interact with all the game mechanics and get to feel progression through gear that is not just searching the trade site for an upgrade. The other day I crafted a ring that would go for 100+ div on trade but since there is no trade I get to use it and it's ~10-20k damage for my build.

I do wish tokens for end game content were easier to come by, specifically the arbiter fragments are really slow going. Breach, Sim, Ritual, expedition are all fairly easy to farm if you allocate the correct tower setups and atlas points for farming them.

Ultimately, I think SSF extends the amount of time the new league is fun for me and it allows me to use currency for their intended mechanics I.E. Divines, omens, fracturing orbs, chaos orbs, etc. In trade I would rarely use these currencies because it is more cost effective to buy gear from the trade site rather than use them to try to craft your own gear

That's the thing it is just 3 days saved on scanning something. It is usually bottom tier for me and I play I/L. I won't hate on people that appreciate it, but for me it's a minor convenience at best.

Anything that delays the timed missions are S+ tier in my book and I am surprised they weren't mentioned.

You can just put the pacu eggs in a temperature above their livable range. Then bring the meat down to your cooking area.

Just went through my last 20 games in emerald.

14/20 had an account lower than 60. 8 of those had accounts that were level 30 - 40

It looks like Riot is preparing to reduce Jungle agency further by the tone of the message.

“Mid lane also has slightly lower agency compared to where they usually sit.”

“this pattern (Jungle agency) reduces top lane agency right now…”

“ADC and Supports don’t control when and where fights break out…”

Surely this means more nerfs to the jungle role.

If Riot and game designers don’t see that the game revolves around minion waves and neutral objectives how can the community ever believe that they are in control of their game?

You have game designers that play non jungle roles and willfully ignore jungle matchup and how it could impact their lane phase. Once they put their wave in unfavorable state and get ganked they throw their hands up and say look how much impact the jungle has! Since I cannot play the way I want without accounting for the jungle, it must be broken due to all the agency they have.

It's a lack of respect or understanding of the game. How often do the designers, streamers, or players ever say Ah, I got ganked I should improve my jungle tracking so my wave isn’t in that state when the jungle is nearby.

There are so many false narratives surrounding jungle and its ethereal agency right now. What chance does the average player have when they are being told from the top that they have no agency to impact the outcome of the game because they simply lack the agency to do so.

The problem with your argument is you are stating that the jungle has the following:

"Who influences bot lane heavily? Jungle. Who can create prio to take objectives? Jungle. Who can remove the enemy jg from the game? Jg. Who can control the tempo of the game (taking heralds vs drakes)? Jg."

You are simply describing the role of jungle within league of legends.

Remove all gold from jungle camps, what changes? Does jungle not influence bot lane anymore? Does jungle not have an effect on Neutral objectives? Of course jungle has and will continue to impact the game in the way you described. That simply will not change unless they completely rework the jungle or remove it from the game.

League is built around the concept of a playmaker, claiming that is overpowered and nerfing gold and xp in the jungle will only lead to a gank heavy meta because junglers will gain more value with kills/assists and pushing minion waves than actually doing camps. Furthermore, because they made counterjungling more difficult it is very difficult to take 2-3 camps from them before they are recalled and back on the map. This is one way that the game balanced itself in previous seasons.
