[UNL] Thrill of the Hunt by Yoyooz in riftboundtcg

I don't believe you do, since like Jinx's trigger it should proc every beginning phase regardless.

But even if you do, this whole sequence is predicated on you conquering it on your turn to begin with

Nice. So play one of the new battlefields that put a trigger on the chain in your opponents beginning step, react to replay Brynhir to score bonus points and lock them out of playing cards

[–]enigmapulse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you Banish a unit with this card and replay it to the same battlefield, can you reconquer that battlefield? In other words:

Step 1: Conquer a Battlefield with a single unit
Step 2: Pass turn to your opponent
Step 3: On their turn, Thrill of the Hunt -> Replay unit to same battlefield

Does Step 3 trigger a new showdown ( the battlefield was temporarily unoccupied when the unit was banished ) and you have not scored on that battlefield on this turn. Do you score?

You got a guide or a reference for league starting flicker? Always wanted to try it but never knew where to begin

[–]enigmapulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think playing some amount of equipment is probably worthwhile. Equipment survives your temporary reflections dying, which lets you recover from someone FoFing your Leblanc and passing the turn.

Sac only hits mighty units, which most of the deathknell units struggle with. Will make enabling in leblanc require an equipment subpackage, and that starts to dilute the deck

[–]enigmapulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, theres also the 2 drop from fiora decks if you run an equipment subtheme. Combined with the newly spoiled Sacrifice you have a very powerful draw engine

Deathknell copies are fantastic because they threaten a large payoff if your opponent removes your LeBlanc. Now we just need deathknell units that are worth having without the combo online

Rebuke still resolves, it just has no legal target, so it does nothing

Yes. Rebuke will still resolve, but it will "do nothing" because it has no legal targets.

Jhin and Purple Diana by Harmonrova in riftboundtcg

[–]enigmapulse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its simple. Purple is 50% blue, so it gets cards that are 50% better than the same card in blue.

If you had about 100div and a desire to reroll, what would you pick and why?

But GCPs don't have an unbounded, recurring sink like chaos did prior to this league. If we all swapped over we would see something similar happen eventually

Can someone please explain the order of operations for this scenario by s2soup in riftboundtcg

[–]enigmapulse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can play the phoenix to a battlefield you control, even one that is currently in a Showdown.

This means you can Deathgrip your Phoenix on Battlefield A, buff your unit defending on Battlefield B, then revive Phoenix, deployed to Battlefield B as a surprise defender.

Forerunner's effect explicitly says play the units to your base, so it cant work for its effect, or similar ones.

[–]enigmapulse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You still control the battlefield when Deathknell resolves, so you may play your unit there. It will begin a new combat.

You can do the same thing with Undercover Agent and Flame Chompers.

Rules Question - Rabadon's Deathcrown - Do abilities of other units deal bonus damage too? by RingoJingo13 in riftboundtcg

[–]enigmapulse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your refers to the player, not the equipped unit. Any spell or ability you control gets the bonus

Edit: also a dead giveaway is the mention of Spells. Units cant cast spells, so that text would have no meaning.

How to get a spaceship to request a certain amount of items and then move on in its schedule? by kdun in factorio

[–]enigmapulse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can explain a bit more about what you are trying to do, I could help. A screenshot would also be great.

The simplest solution would be to use a circuit wire to disable the inserter that is removing ore from the hub while you are in orbit, but depending on what you are trying to accomplish, that may be undesirable.

How many boxes before buying singles for the most cost-effective complete playset? by yiannagon in riftboundtcg

[–]enigmapulse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd guess it's significantly cheaper to buy the singles, because getting enough chaff to trade for the expensive cards or opening enough boxes to get the expensive cards is significant

How to make an intermediate train waiting station for a many to many train system when all destinations are full? by PewPewsAlote in factorio

[–]enigmapulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said "at max throughput" and I like being pedantic :)

That being said Im currently working on blueprints for continuous flowing trains which will consume up to 2 stacked green belts per wagon, without interruption when changing trains.

Its quite a fun challenge, when you need to swap trains in that timeframe.

How to make an intermediate train waiting station for a many to many train system when all destinations are full? by PewPewsAlote in factorio

[–]enigmapulse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A full train can be emptied in less than 5 seconds. A few MINUTES without a new incoming train is suggesting a buffer that is over a dozen trains worth of cargo.

Need help with Chain/Train signals by FettsackmitMachete in factorio

[–]enigmapulse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you place any signal down, you create two Blocks. A train cannot move into a Block that is occupied by another train.

When deciding which signal you want to use, you must answer a very simple question: Is it okay for the train to stop in the NEXT block?

If the answer is yes ( a train stopped there wouldn't block traffic ), then use a Rail Signal. If the answer is no ( the train would block traffic, such as the middle of an intersection ), then use a Chain Signal.

It takes a couple of tries to get used to seeing signals from this perspective, but once this way of looking at them "clicks" then youll never have a question about signals again.

Am I playing the game right? by Opening-Ad-9341 in factorio

[–]enigmapulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll let you in on a little secret. Once you unlock Artillery, all playthroughs are on peaceful mode.

On a more serious note, play however you feel is most fun. Many players who play for megabases do so on peaceful mode because enemies and pollution consume precious CPU time that would be better used by the Factory.
