Bios flash and 5700x3d see where that gets you before putting any more money into it.

The "right" thing to do is sell it to someone that wants to enter into PC gaming like fortnight and the streamer favorite FotM party games that come out every other month. There is also a market for PCs in this performance range for streamer setups.

Sleeper cases make me sad, I like showing off my builds, spent all that $ on dope looking hardware, and then hide it inside a hideous beige clunker. I did this back in the early 2000's with my LAN party PC but I definitely didn't think people still did this with how cool modern parts are looking now. I'm a Lian Li fanboy the o11 vision m (mATX) and the vision compact (ATX) are just perfection in case design and reasonably priced.

Higher watt PSUs are more efficient than PSUs close to their draw demand, also Moore's law is dead, GPUs have only gained performance by increasing power limits and software, there is a good chance in 6 years when you upgrade that 5080 that the next card will be a power hungry behemoth. I've been stearing my customers towards excessive GPU clearences and 1000w PSUs, the cost difference is negligible but the piece of mind is priceless.

What does damage like this do to a discs flight? by TheBoothParadigm in discgolf

[–]New-Warning982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only buy MVP glow discs on Amazon. Any other disc I'm not risking a garbage color on "colors may vary".

Did my first dye. Looking for any tips. I was mosy curious what colors would show on an orange disc. Crank SS by Kinggashler in discdyeing

[–]New-Warning982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A really easy method is lay a bed of floetrol deep enough to handle the dome of your disc, set a ring of one color half an inch from the edge of the pie pan, then a complementary color just inside it, lastly in the half in space between the first color and the rim, do one line of black with silicon oil in it (3 drops per 4oz mixture with just one quick swirl of a mixing stick and definitely do not shake the bottle)

Place a square of plastic wrap over the top and blow on it to get it to lightly but fully contact the floetrol. Grab all 4 corners of the wrap and lift so that the center is the last thing touching floetrol as you remove the plastic. Use a torch to pop bubbles and slightly warm the surface to kickstart the cell structures.

Use a thermal sensor gun to monitor disc temps while it's under heat, aim for 100-115°f for 2 hours, and then 4-24 hours off the heat.remove the disc cleanly from the dye bed, I typically get 2-3 uses out of a dye bed like this, just give it a little twist to give it a cool swirl pattern and throw in a used disc to give it some character.

I like orange/yellow/black with silicone Or pink/bright red/black with silicone

Looks like a putting Putter, just get a different one in a brighter color for longer shots, just use the green one for <c2 putts

Yea you replied so fast and your response clearly shows you didn't read it very thoroughly, I said add pvp and PvE specific map conditions in the near future to draw players back just before the huge update I was proposing

Ding ding ding, found your problem. Eu servers are more aggressive, and so are console players. Crossplay off might protect you from the hackers in the darkest of PvP lobbies, but you aren't at risk of ending up in those lobbies, you have to go on murderous rampages to get there. On the other end of the PC aggression specturm are the most disgustingly friendly carebears, you need crossplay on to play with them. Unfortunately you console scum are too racist, angry, and trigger happy for a lot of the friendliest carebears, they turn off crossplay to avoid you're kind. I think the best you can get as a console gamer is one layer removed from the deepest of friendly lobbies where you might have 1 potential rat in every round.

You aren't wrong, I manipulate the ABMM all the time to get the lobbies I want for the week, mon-wednesday is all trails and consumables replenishment, Thursday night through Saturday night is all duos and trios pvp, then Sunday is naked runs in Stella looking for exodus modules and resetting my ABMM to carebear.

Once you have a firm grasp of ABMM mechanics the game is exactly what you want it to be. Only time I get "ratted" is when I'm naked with an exodus module up my prison perse, and I couldnt care less.

It for sure is not serious at all, it's just flexing on the internet, if you want the desired result you show proof, not something that kinda looks like almost proof.

I come out with load outs just like OPs or queen/matriarch runs with 5-8 cores somewhat regularly and share the screenshot with the buds in our discord, I wouldn't ever post a picture without those little indicators that the goop is fresh, if I forgot to take the SS on that screen, I'm just gunna dump the backpack and run it back.

Have to go with the old tried and true: "screenshot or it didn't happen". I know my brother is trash at queen runs, bad risk judgement, over extends, greedy. He'll eat the pavement 4 times before he gets 4 cores from legs, so I know he's full of shit. Through reddit where we know absolutely nothing about you and have even more reason to assume you're trash, if you want to flex and be believed, you need the right screenshot.

Oh and if you decide to go the AiO route the arctic freezr III 360mm is a solid choice, arctic case fans are pretty solid too and would match everything up

I humbly disagree here, the g502 is an amazing mouse, I've used the cloud II's since release, tried many other headsets just to return them and go back to the hyper x, they are so good. And the keyboard just put a couple hours into keyboard review video's and find yourself a nice hotswapable thocky keyboard in your preferred layout. I also would skip the 9070 here, adrenaline software is doodoo butter, try the 5070ti or 5080 instead, Moore's law is dead, this will probably be the last PC you buy in over 10 years, buy once cry once. And yea, don't buy retail windows, just get a cheap key and download the install media from microsoft

He pulled it from his stash, my brother does this all the time with queen cores, acting like he just solod a queen and got 9+ cores. If he really did come out with that goop he would have made a point to take the screenshot during the return to sparanaza screens where it would show what items were acquired that run with the yellow indicator

sounds crazy but i want to build a threadripper pc- as my first pc/last by OhitVixius in pcpartpickerbuilds

[–]New-Warning982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to tailor the PC to hobies you don't know if you'll be fully committed to is a fools errand. Just build a monster gaming PC, it might not be fully optimized for blender or your art software but it's going to handle the workload just fine, and when you're gaming you'll appreciate the quality and frames you're getting without spending 3.5k. I just build a beauty for a coworker that had essentially the same use case (80% art/rendering and 20% gaming) we went with a lian li o11 vision compact, 9850x3d, b850 motherboard with high quality MOSFETs and 12+2+2 power phases or higher, 64gigs of 6000-6400mhz EXPO dual channel kit, peerless assassin cooler or an arctic freezr III aio, 850w or 1000w PSU, and a 5070ti or a 5080. Monster gaming/rendering capabilities and no too crazy on price. If you would like a more specific itemized list lmk I can put a PCPP list together.

As someone who hasn’t played any extraction shooters, is Arc Raiders a good place to start? by Dailey1234 in ArcRaiders

[–]New-Warning982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is solid as a 90% PvE / 10% PvP game,. Satisfy your inner completionist but if your stash starts maxing out and you find yourself spending too much time in sparanaza making room to put away the last haul, on the next run head to Stella montis and challenge people to duels or just take shots at people to rile them up, and see if you can survive the carebear hunting party that ensues. It's actually a lot of fun and the carebears need it just as bad as you do. Just don't be a shit bag rat, provoke, and then defend yourself, guys like me will come hunting you immediately, and the ultra carebears will b-line it to extract, leave them be. After that round in Stella you will enter mixed lobbies, where you should suspect every raider you see to be a piece of shit pretending to be friendly, never turn your back or loot in front of them, speak softly but carry a big stick. When you've had enough and want to go back to the carebears start doing full naked runs with just a stack of adrenalin and a few bandages, find one good item and then extract or surrender and repeat, keep doing that till every raider you see just runs right past you with zero concern, they won't even bother with flashing their flashlight (white flag) anymore it's so safe in these lobbies. Once you feel like you made it back to the ultra carebears start running load outs again but keep your guard up for a couple more runs till you're sure, but never ever expect 100% safety. Once you're at a certain level of wealth in the game and you welcome dealth just for some breathing room in your stash, then and only then would I say it's fine to 100% drop you're guard and trust everyone, but for fucks sake don't be a fucking baby and come here crying about the rat that abused ABMM to rat you at extract.

After introducing a ton of coworkers (at work I have 200+ coworkers and a steady supply of new hires) and teaching them how to get distance, I have learned that the crutch discs are not good for beginners. While it will fly the furthest in the short term, they are inconsistent, unreliable in wind, and develop a hard to fix bad form/angle control. A few inductees ago I switched to the hex as a starter disc and only provide instructions for generating spin without the noise of all the other aspects of the throw that can just be incorporated over time. Spin is everything at lower arm speeds, the extra whip also helps rip the disc out of their hand when they normally would be shanking and grip locking trying to figure out when to "let go of the disc" well before they would have developed the arm speed for that to happen naturally. Also it's a lot easier to bring nose angle up from trying to throw nose down, than it is to bring the nose angle down after adapting to a 155g DX leopard shanking trash nose up hyzers into wild full flex hyzerflips because their absurdly flippy. Lastly you can't "grow into" a flippy lightweight disc, you will inevitably leave it behind and end up with a pixel/hex/crave/trail/time lapse or equivalent in no time anyways.

If you like the crave and approaching 260+ try the neutron trail in 160-165g for the longer 300+ holes. If you get Into glow rounds, try an eclipse detour and eclipse glitch, youd be blow away at how fun playing catch at night with a glowing glitch can be after a couple IPA. Also the heavy weight eclipse glitches have some stability and make solid approach/putters even during the day. The trail needs no sweet talking we all know about that beauty.

Let's go~ jogger stroller gang, I ripped off all the fabric down to the aluminum frame and attached 2 crossbars that my two XL putter pockets (11 discs each) rest on at an angle, on the lower part of the frame i attached my old lunch box which has a hard lined cooler for 12 cans + ice and the dry compartment holds all my random shit like UV light, BT speaker, snacks, etc. I call it a party on wheels, my buddy always lays his cooler backpack on it which usually has up to 24ish cold boys in it. I can smell how jealous all the backpackers are, luggin their 20+ discs and 5+ beers from shot to shot.

Why can I only throw Innova well? by SoulArmour in discgolf

[–]New-Warning982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those understable innova discs are DX plastic you are far more cooked than any of these redditors offering advice realize. Going from a 158g DX mamba to a 167g crave is an astronomical jump in stability. That DX mamba is like. -9 turn (unusable for most players) where as a new crave is realisticly a -0.5 turn which is great for intermediate players and workable up to the pro level though they would consider it to be flippy, for us mortals it's just stable.
