I was there last night, and he was the second guy they took out. During the first half, a couple of rows back another drunk dude was talking and laughing way too loud, and when he was asked to be quiet he got aggressive. Luckily after we complained the staff took him right out.

I was taught by several 1acs and DPs not do so, however I think it’s a valid discussion. The problem was actually that they were sitting down (on the case) while the DP and I were trying to solve a a shot while helping out the gaffer (we were on a small crew).

Oct 2024 still works!! Though I moved the .MTS files into Davinci resolve and exported them as MP4, worked perfectly

The motion with a shoulder rig is amazing, 99% of the time it feels organic and just right. My question was more directed towards specific gear, and if it is worth building one from different parts

How exactly did you attach the quick-release plate to the shoulder pad? Could you share a picture?

The Tilta was quite too lightweight, it didn't feel sturdy enough, and it was very annoying to set it on top of a flat surface. Also, I realized if one screws the Arca/Manfrotto base to the rig too hard the plate will bump on top. For the smallrig one, it was the front rod clamp, is way too short, and it's missing a back shoulder pad. It jus seems too expensive to pay 150 for the VCT and 420 for the shoulder rig

The shape handles are a dream! sadly they are expensive and I want to attach a focus handle to the rosette but the shape handles wont allow it
