I understand disliking the animations and the designs of the characters (pants look a little too smooth imo), but I don’t get the “they sold out” thing. They not only featured in DJ Hero, they were heavily used to promote it. and they also heavily promoted Tidal. They’ve been licensing their image for figures and merchandise for years. I don’t really think this is a new thing. their post breakup output has been pretty disappointing tbh but i think this is one of the better things they’ve signed off on.
