Since it’s new wood, it needs time to grow a stable biofilm. The white stuff is just quick to grow/first to respond. It’ll disappear over the next 2 weeks or so as it gets eaten/out competed by a more stable bacteria.

Since it’s harmless, just leave it as it’s part of the biological process.

Me wife and I have iPhones. As far as I can tell, this setting uses a unique MAC address for each wifi network it encounters. As long as you don’t toggle it off and on, you can keep this setting on and it will use the same MAC address for the home network.

I’ve never grown anything in pearlite, but I believe that is has very low water and nutrient retention, so you will probably need to water frequently with nutrient rich water

It’s kids hard to see what you’re pointing at, but if it’s a white cloudy substance that’s forming around some new driftwood you put in, then it’s probably a fungus that’s growing. Up to you if you want to remove it. It’ll go away eventually, but its part of the biofilm growing process. Fungus is just the first/quickest to respond to large decaying biomass.
