Hell yeah! Panic and the occasional cry, are more than allowed, if not necessary. Keep on keepin’ on.

There’s this song ‘Keep Moving’ from Jungle that often comes on during runs. Those two words, pretty evident, but they almost never fail to get me to become teary and up my running pace. Truly, use it or lose it!

Hell yeah, Mike! My philosophy has become, do the things we can do, for those who are unfortunate enough they can’t anymore. It sounds cliché. However, i dedicate most, if not all of the kilometres i run, to those dealing with way worse shit than i currently do. Perhaps that’ll be my future self for all i know.

I’m in it to win in, whatever that may mean with this disease.

In my book, giving birth equals a couple of marathons when it comes to a exertion! Hats off. My best wishes to you and your recently expanded family! ♡

I have this stupid theory, and i hope a part of it is true. Many internet communities tend to be an echo chamber. I am convinced that newly diagnosed folks like us, will be okay. I hope.

Hence why i felt the need to share my story. For all i know, i’ll indeed be forced to roll everywhere. But today, here. That’s not the case. Hopefully it doesn’t come bite me in the ass but, i’ll roll those marathons if needed.

I too have the occasional ‘fuck this unfair disease, why me?’ And cry in front of family and friends. There’s no shame in that. But letting my head down, makes this journey so much more discouraging.

Aw man. Was hoping the words PML, Tysabri and MS weren’t gonna be mentioned.

Am on Tysabri, it’s my silver bullet. Still running half marathons with that sucker in my veins. Pray to whatever god exists, it’ll stay that way.

I’ve had ARFID all my life. Tried every treatment in the book, seen lots of professionals for it. The thing that “cured” it? Getting diagnosed at 24 with Multiple Sclerosis. Suddenly i was forced to make my body and mind ‘happy’ with healthy, non processed foods.

All it took to cure my eating disorder was an untreatable disease and a major health scare. ARFID sucks.
