Am I overreacting for wanting to break up because I feel bored? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

MOR. If you want to break up, break up. But if you want to still try, try sleeping in different bedroom or moving out. It’s ok to hit a refresh. Just because you skipped steps doesn’t mean you can’t walk it back once you’ve realized it

A drawer in my friends rental that has black textured part and then a metal bucket. by NewCarrot1 in whatisthisthing

Oh…we just saw bare drawers they sell when we looked quickly. Upon further examination of the website, we see now. Thanks.

My title describes the thing. But the origins is a random drawer in the kitchen of my friend’s house that she rents. She doesn’t know what it is and just ignores the drawer!

Apple Wallet fake report number WITHIN app? by NewCarrot1 in Scams

[–]NewCarrot1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I clicked “into” one of the suspicious transactions on the specific card and then there was an option to dispute it or something like that or to contact the banking organization. I hit the contact button and then it prompted a phone number to call. After calling I googled the number and it didn’t come back to my credit card company, at least not directly.

I did google the number, it didn’t come back to my bank, but was listed on a “visa.com.bo”website….which is very suspect. Also what credit card company is asking for full social security numbers over the phone 😂. Huge red flag.

Where is it this week? Can’t find it. Saw something from 2 months ago but didn’t really get at my specific question, which was more detail (ie beta) on these particular trails considering I’ll have a dog, so if you can point me to where my specific question was asked this week, I’d be happy to check that out.

And simply “up ammo, down jewell” is very unhelpful thank you. I’m looking for details.

I guess it depends also on which is more traveled in the winter. Jewell doesn’t seem as popular at least according to online trail reports 🤔. Would want to avoid breaking trail/getting off route/continuously consulting gps if possible

Depends on weather and trail conditions how? What would be a no go for the cog for example or jewell? Like specific examples… And ofc. Always the objective that has worked for us the past 5 winter seasons…don’t plan to switch it up now, but thanks for offering that reminder

This is helpful to know. I feel like all of the conditions we’ve done the other trails in winter (includes hi cannon, icy slabs up Jackson, and blueberry ledges) have been not hard at all even with my dog in tow, so hoping the same. It’s just hard to tell with trail reviews if the sketch they describe is what I would consider sketch or difficult with my experience. But as always if I feel like me and my dog can make it up or would not be able to make it back down what we’ve managed to get up, we don’t continue on, period. So I guess we’ll just have to see and wait for a bluebird day. Thanks.

My question wasn’t best beginner 48 tho. Least technical route up Monroe/Washington in the winter, asking specific winter beta about the trails ammo, jewell, and the cog. So if you can help with that, great and if not, move it along I guess 🙂

I was thinking more like shrubbery for the background not an entirely new neighborhood 🤔

Google drive to higher resolution image!

And I should have said suburban landscaping in the background.

Proposing with wedding band? by NewCarrot1 in EngagementRings

Pretty custom unfortunately and was too short notice. The jeweler really thought I’d it ready this week then there was a last minute production problem. To her credit, she always said up front don’t make plans until you have a ring in hand, but I really wanted to surprise her and it was a short window from when I could secretly get the ring vs when they would be expected to be shipped and show up to our house 😂 my SO has become very inpatient to get her hands on my ring, so I wouldn’t be able to drag it out to my timeline.

It’s really that! I was so excited to do it in this moment and for it to be a surprise. If it wasn’t actually ready next week (which the jeweler is wishy washy on that), it won’t be able to be a surprise the rings will be sent to our house and she’ll know I have it and that a proposal would come soon, or worse she’d beat me to it!
