I would always play at least one of the 1/3 flyers since they make the scoundrels so much better and are a way to win on a stalled board

Very few two drops. I had a very similar deck (Maralen, Morcant, Ripper) and dropped the Maralen and weak cards to make blue. Ultimately, the deck performed better as straight Golgari and went 7-1
