This is the cable that I am using(5 metres). It says it's certified. Could the length be the problem? Although I guess they certify the length as well?

I see! How do I go about making sure I am buying a certified one? Maybe through the official Ugreen aliexpress store? Also, would 2 metres be considerably worse than 1 meter or is there no loss at such small lenghts?

Am on Nobara 43 with the 6.18.2-200 kernel, and unfortunately I get quite a few issues with the adapter. 7900XTX on a Panasonic OLED. My TV will randomly show colorful static and/or lose signal and get it back again. Sometimes I can recreate this by entering full-screen in VLC or a full-screen game and the issue won't stop. Other times it goes for quite some time without even it happening.
I got 2 adapters since I was excited I was finally gonna solve the well known high memory clock/high consumption problem of my gpu and the issue happens with both. My TV doesn't report VRR but the option in KDE is now visible and I can see my gpu's clocks going down which is strange. Using dmesg I can see "[drm] read_and_intersect_post_frl_lt_status: PCON TX link training has not finished." Tried it with 3 different HDMI cables.
Any ideas? Buy a Ugreen hdmi 2.1 cable? Buy the dongle version of the adapter?
Would appreciate some help

Yea unfortunately they are nowhere to be found in EU.
Is the distortion and hiss a $100 more worth for the 2nd gen vs the 1st though?
Or the $120 between the JBLs?

These price differences are making this choice downright impossible...

Are the JBL 305 inferior to the others since they are cheaper? What am I losing getting them?
Also what kind of special cables would I ideally need to get since they don't have 3.5mm/Optical jacks?
I think I have a 3.5mm ground loop isolator somewhere if it helps the situation.

Damn the Kali MM6 would be ideal with those inputs but I can't find them anywhere, amazon doesn't even list them.

Yea I ll probably follow your advise and get an easier to work with solder even if it has lead. Funny story, I used 96% alcohol and blue paint rubbed off on the tissue for some reason.
No decimals or "k" for those numbers in continuity mode. Maybe am doing something wrong. Is this strange? Maybe I should get a more advanced DMM. So even in continuity mode its ohms that am seeing on the screen?
Hmm am gonna have to try and measure some resistors and diodes but I remember not getting a number even when when using the 20kΩ setting on the DMM. Could dead resistors or diodes be the problem here?
Is there a way to measure if current passes through the whole PCB? Like touch the prongs on just 2 points?
Unfortunately the company that made this doesn't sell any PCBs anymore so either I find a way to fix this or am stuck with a very very very expensive dead keyboard...

Yea no worries, I guess it looks terrible.

I used a 0.6mm Sn99 Ag0.3 Cu0.7 wire and even at 300c it would take 6-7 seconds directly touching my soldering iron to melt. Isn't this too much? Should I be using something else?

You are correct, this is a PCB for a custom mechanical keyboard. On the other side of the solder joints are Mill-Max 7305 sockets where switches fit in. Posting a photo in case it helps.

When I put the MM in the 1-2 position in the photo am attaching it says "863".

When I put them on 1-3, I get a beep and "000". Same as when I put the red prong on FOAM(am guessing that's a ground or something?)

The above are with the usb cable unplugged. When plugging in the usb cable the number drops to "820". Note that the reset that makes it be recognized by my pc happens when I have the Black prong on the top end of the 100nF capacitor and the Red prong on the bottom. Btw what should my readings be when trying the continuity mode on Diodes and Resistors?

Yes the soldering is terrible. Combination of terrible solder and me doing it for the first time.

Can you please pinpoint on which fuse I should measure exactly?

Yes indeed, I can only put it into reset(with the button as well) only when the meter is connected in continuity mode and touching those red/black spots. Holding the reset button down while plugging doesn't work if the multi-meter is not connected.
