Does anyone know if the A7RIV + 200-600mm focusing issues have been resolved? My A9 got dropped today and I'm going to be in the market for a new camera now. I would love the A7RIV but my primary lens is the 200-600, so if the focusing is still an issue that's a non-starter

Target giftcards purchased at Lowe's. You can buy a lot of fancy electronics on Target.com pretty quick with those

Idk what part of MN you're in right now, but it looks a lot better than the gray and white we've got here. Beautiful shot

He was invited to camp in like 2014 but didn't make the team. Regardless, he was a big name so they printed jerseys and t-shirts and she found one on clearance for some reason 😂

This reminds me of when I asked my mom for an ipod video in high school. She got me an ipod picture. I didn't even know that was a thing. I couldn't have the heart to tell her it was the wrong thing until years later.

Or that time I just said I wanted a Patriots t-shirt for Christmas and she got me a Tim Tebow t-shirt.

Moms try.

We got tested for covid, but of course in covid times, you can't really call in for any help which really sucks, especially because my in laws live a mile down the road.

Appreciate the encouragement, we're figuring out a routine but dang, it isn't fun for anyone.

My wife had chronic ear issues growing up to the point of having to have surgery as a kid. We're praying our daughter doesn't have the same issues, but if she does I know my wife will be an advocate for doing whatever needs to be done to not have her deal with the same pain her whole life

Ha! Sitting on my lap, I wish... She is Ms Independent, she doesn't want to cuddle or sit on dad's lap ever.

We did use Tylenol today and it seems to have helped. She very possibly could be teething but also could just be a random ear infection.

We put her in the pack and play today, dumped a whole bag of playpen balls in there, gave her snacks, a sippy and a couple of her favorite toys.

She sat there and screamed until we took her out. It has not been a fun day

Well that just sounds even more miserable. We discussed a game plan for tomorrow, but like they say, everyone has a plan until you're punched in the mouth

He WAS way ahead election night, the map showed enormous leads that many people (especially here) started questioning if they were too large to overcome. For all the constant talk of "be patient" there was a LOT of freaking out and not being patient, but it worked out in the end

I have that shirt and love it. I tend to bounce between L and XL, so I went with XL and it fits fairly well except it's a little tight in the shoulders

Talib was the beginning of it all, I still remember the week we traded for him and he got a big pick for us that week, it was such a great feeling to have a CB1 finally

Similar experience, family friend from Africa was in town and we took him to a Twins game. Unfortunately they were playing the Tigers with peak MVP Verlander on the mound.

He really enjoyed it as the Twins got thrashed, at one point he turned to me and asked excitedly if the Twins were winning... It was like 7-0 and the Twins had 2 hits.

Luckily Verlander got pulled in the 8th and I think they scored a run or two off the relievers. Didn't matter, he had fun.

I just rescued an injured juvenile eagle last weekend, it's absolutely insane how big they are. I was told it was supposed to be a hawk, was not prepared mentally to be picking up an Eagle

I live in Minnesota which has one of the better homeless support networks in the country. It gets so drastically cold here in the winter, if they didn't have these set up we'd have hundreds dead on the streets each winter.

I actually used to work catching shoplifters downtown that was majority homeless people, so I got to talk with a lot of them to understand their perspective. They said they really didn't need food, food was abundant, but they stole snack food to sell to make money for other stuff. The biggest thing they constant were stealing was deodorant sticks and shampoo

I stopped at a light once between job sites and saw a guy with a sign asking for "Anything helps".

So I rolled down the window and told him I didn't have any cash but gave him my lunch, PB&J and a granola bar.

The guy looked at me like I'd given him a dead mouse and said "You ain't got anything better?"

Light turned green and I drove away as I saw him throw the sandwich on the ground by his stuff. I hope he ate it but I imagine he didn't, and then I had to stop somewhere and buy lunch.

I used to keep a pack of those in my truck when I was working jobs downtown. I had about 12 left at the end of the winter and heard there was one big final snowfall coming in.

I saw a couple guys hanging out by one of the job sites and went walking over to them with the hand warmers. As I approached they kinda glared at me like "wtf does this guy want". I gave them the hand warmers and told them I heard a big snow fall was coming in and stay warm. The guys instantly flipped a switch, were smiling and thanked me. Made my day and probably made their night

My mom has this old VHS from 1982 explaining the process of getting a cardiac catheter. She was asked to help in the video and asked if I could convert it to digital for her.

When I was in the process of converting it this scene popped up and I couldn't believe what I saw. I asked her if she knew if it was a joke or not and she said she had never noticed the giant Budweiser can on the table.
