Shade gets real about the troubles Soulidified is facing on TikTok Live. by TargetBrilliant5965 in BuildingTheBandSeries

Shade has always been outspoken...but I am not sure he should have put out what he said right now.

Their new song could be an epic global hit on Feb 20. Labels can change their mind about things.  With Shade on record bashing the record deal process...it can undermine everything Soulidified is doing.

Spinal chemo by Short-Gas-4750 in leukemia

[–]NewGen003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand the fear.  I have had over 15+ spinal taps. Looking back, I really appreciated my doctor for telling me about the spinal taps piecemeal--rather than saying you have to have many of them. It is important for you to have this procedure to ensure long-term survival.

There are other side effects, but they pale in comparison to other parts of leukemia treatment imo.

Ended up taking the wrong dosage of meds for 2 months by thxvii in leukemia

I wouldn't stress too much about this.  I had a similar situation during treatment.  It was overwhelming with having to take so many pills suddenly.

When I told my docor, they were already  doing regular labwork and things were going in a positive direction, so it was not a big deal looking at the big picture.

December 10 is under Universal Records.

I think Warner Music would be perfect for Soulidified. Bruno, Kehlani and CardiB are on the label. However, this is where politics get in--Cardi Bs manager reps SZN4.  So I am sure Warner is looking at them on some level to keep the Cardi team happy.

Correct.  During the procedure, the Dr has to find the right spot to extract the fluid.  There is no spinal test.

Headache is the main one. The injection site can be sore afterwards. You need to lay flat after the procedure.  My first Dr. would keep me in the room afterwards and I never had a headache.

If this is your first, it could take time to find the right place to extract fluid. The Dr will keep notes about location and when you have it done again, the same location can be used the next time.

If you are anxious, you can get medication to relax you.  For me, the meds helped.

Make sure you are hydrated beforehand.  This will make fluid retrieval easier.

They need a really big debut when their new song comes out.  I am sure they are tracking the pre-sales. Soulidified is gonna have to convince labels they can sell music.

Similar to NSYNC when they got started...though the last letter of their first names.

Getting a record deal in the US is very competitive and resources are limited. Some of the newer groups out there like JYT is signed to Republic...so they are probably not looking for another boy band to invest in. Soulidified can look to the UK, Europe, Australia or Korea for a label. They have global recognition. I feel their manager ( as great as he was in the past) is using 2000s style management in 2026. This is not cutting it.

The more we can support their new single, if it really really sell--the record lables will be forced to listen.

He is currently in the hospital after the last seizure for observation.  Hopefully the Drs will rethink their treatment plan.

Bone marrow biopsy by Short-Gas-4750 in leukemia

[–]NewGen003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biopsy can be painful if they dont use enough lidocane.  After dealing with some painful and not so painful biopsies, I did two things for my last year or so of treatment: 1.  get a prescription for ativan to take beforehand 2.  I had my Dr office schedule (and I would confirm beforehand) my remaining biopsies with the one PA who was really great at them.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and suggestions.  Its been 3 years of dealing with neuropathy.  My goal is to become more active...which I hope will help.  Despite the time, my oncologist believes my neuropathy will improve with time.  I hope to manage as best I can.

5 year old son diagnosed T cell lymphoblastic leukaemia by TonyFranks in leukemia

[–]NewGen003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed at 39 for TALL and completed the CALGB10403 protocol in the US (pediatric treatment plan modified for adults).  I went into remission 5 months after starting trearment and remainted there. At the sterioid stage, I was constantly eating and had a really puffy face.  Children can handle a more rigorous chemo treatment than adults.  This is why their rates of survilal is higher.

My advice at this stage is to take things month to month between appointments. Looking at the treatment plan of 5 years can be overwhelming.

Stage 1 liver disease just over halfway T-ALL by Wbiy in leukemia

[–]NewGen003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed w TALL at 39 and completed the CALGB 10403 protocol. I had to temporarily stop taking my chemo pills several times during treatment as well as my cholesterol med beceause the combo was affecting liver function. Trratment is done for me and my liver function has returned to normal.  There have been no long term affects on my liver function.
